Chapter 405 It’s still Mutually-Beneficial
Two days later, Rosalie flew to s City early in the morning based on the agreed time.
She saw someone waiting for her with a sign greeting her the moment she landed, just as Andrius hadsaid.

“Our President Snyder has already booked a hotel for you. Would you like me to take you directly to thehotel or the company first?”
The driver respectfully asked after she got into the car.
Rosalie did not bring anything with her and pondered for a moment before replying. “Let’s go to thecompany first, provided if President Snyder has the time.”
She wanted to settle business first.
The driver complied and immediately drove to the company. He called President Snyder along the wayto explain the situation to him.
When Rosalie arrived at the company, President Snyder was already waiting in the office.
“Dr. Jacobs, how wonderful it is to finally put a face to the name.” President Snyder got up to hold herhand the moment she entered.
Rosalie reached out generously to shake his hand before greeting him politely.
The two exchanged a few words before Rosalie cut to the chase and started talking about business.
“President Snyder, I’m here today…”
Just as she said that, President Snyder interrupted her without hesitation, “I’m aware, you came here todiscuss the cooperation with me. Don’t worry about it. I’m not the only one after all.”
Hearing this, Rosalie could not help but be stunned for a moment. Thinking that there was somevariation happening, she hesitantly said, “I have prepared the partnership proposal, would you like totake a look at it first? If you have any questions, we can discuss them.”
President Snyder smiled and waved his hand. “It’s not what you think, you have been recommended byPresident Quirke and of course, I won’t break my word. What I meant is that our company will beholding a dinner tonight. The person in charge will also be there, if you are not in a hurry, why don’t youall sit down and have a chat about it tonight?”
Rosalie breathed a sigh of relief, she still had some concerns, however. “I don’t mind that, it can beanother day, but for tonight’s dinner…”
She was new here and did not have much of a working partnership relation with the company. It wouldbe embarrassing for her to just jump into dinner hastily.
President Snyder was unaware of what she was thinking, however, and continued to extend aninvitation, “I heard from President Quirke that Dr. Jacobs has quite a name internationally. You’d begiving us face if you were able to attend the dinner being held by our company today since there will becelebrities of the medical scene from all over the country there. Dr. Jacobs, you might be able to get toknow a few more partners, which would be mutually beneficial for you and me!”
President Snyder had inquired about Rosalie’s background through his contacts and many otherparties the moment Andrius recommended her to him. He knew that she shone during the lastconference in North city before. It just so happened that quite many among the medica field celebritieswho would be present today should already know Rosalie.
Hence, President Snyder came up with this idea.
Inviting Rosalie to the dinner would firstly, show the guests that he had a broad network of contacts,and secondly, be regarded as giving Andrius and Rosalie some face.
Hearing him say this, Rosalie did not think it would be good for her to refuse and nodded in agreement.” Since President Snyder has said so, I can’t possibly say no. I’ll bring this document with me tonight.”
President Snyder quickly stopped her. “There’s no need for that. Let’s just sit down and have a chattonight. There’s no need to be so formal, since you’re not in a hurry, it wouldn’t make a difference if wesigned it tomorrow.’’
Rosalie hesitated for a moment before agreeing noncommittally.
President Snyder informed her of the time and place of the dinner and asked the driver to take Rosalieback to the hotel.
