Chapter 387

Chapter 387 Dr. Jacobs Is Going Abroad

“However, now that you know, what are you going to do?”

Andrius hesitated before asking. His gaze on Byron was inquiring.

He did not doubt his eyes, so he was sure that his friend must be interested in Dr. Jacobs.

However, what he really did not know was whether he would fight Aunt Melody for her.

Byron frowned and could not help feeling a burst of irritability deep down. He replied in a deep voiceafter some time passed, “I’ll think of something on the Lawrences’ side. Can you help with Rosalie’sside?”

Hearing this, Andrius was again puzzled.

What did he mean by ‘think of something’? Were they going to go against Aunt Melody or not?

Byron did not hear him answer and added with a frown, “If it’s inconvenient, I’ll figure it out by myself. As for my mother, I’m not ready to openly confront her for the time being.”

Considering his mother’s temperament, the more he fought against her for Rosalie, the more shewould dislike Rosalie and target the woman.

Moreover, she was his mother.

Byron had to take her identity into consideration.

Andrius thought about it for a while and replied, “I certainly would be able to help. At present, only theQuirkes are working with Dr. Jacobs. Although I can try to ensure that their medicinal material needsduring this period of time are met, it won’t be possible in the long run. Dr. Jacobs still requires more

businesses to cooperate with her. With the Quirkes influence in Coast city, it won’t be difficult topersuade several of them, but…”

Talking up till this point, Andrius gave Byron a meaningful look.

Byron frowned, “what’s the matter?”

“Things will be easier if we have your encouragement. ” Andrius mysteriously said, “I’m only looking fora few of the better medicinal materials businesses.novelbin

There’ll be no leakage of information to Aunt Melody. II

Hearing this, Byron nodded noncommittally. “Then I’ll have to trouble you. In addition, it’d be best if youcould help me keep Rosalie in the country.”

He knew the woman’s temperament well. With such a large issue with the research institute, shecertainly would not leave this mess and head abroad like this.

Since Andrius would be helping, the woman would certainly cooperate as much as possible.

“No problem!”

After complying, Andrius realized what Byron had just said and frowned with some shock. “What doyou mean? Dr. Jacobs is going abroad? She doesn’t plan to settle here?”

Byron nodded deeply.

Andrius could not believe it. “How did you find out? Haven’t you been out of touch these days? Youdidn’t even know what happened to her research institute. What if it’s just a misunderstanding on your

part? Dr. Jacobs has only just returned for some time.”

As far as he knew, Dr. Jacobs had been abroad for six years, she came back this time to run theresearch institute and had spent so much effort on it. How could she leave this easily?

Byron scoffed sarcastically. “It’s true. It’s not a misunderstanding. She told Estelle.”

He was similarly stunned when he got to know this.

This was, however, a fact.

“Then you…” Andrius looked at his friend hesitantly.

If Dr. Jacobs were to leave the country, what would Byron do?

Byron glanced at him with a dark gaze. “Hence, I’d like you to try to keep her in the country as much asyou can.”

Andrius came back to his senses abruptly and heaved a sigh of relief. He smiled teasingly and said, “Ijust knew that you wouldn’t let her go so easily.”
