Chapter 380

Chapter 380 Is This Batch of Medicinal Materials Enough?

At the end of the day, he was a subordinate working for the Quirke family. Since Andrius had entrustedthis matter to this person, it showed that this person was also under him. Naturally, Rosalie would notmake things harder for him. What she said just now was also just a reminder. Their research institutewas not so easy to deal with, so he should pay more attention in the future.

Don also reacted and suddenly breathed a sigh of relief. He shook Rosalie’s hand and noddedrepeatedly, “of course, of course!”

Rosalie smiled politely. “Well then, let’s have a happy cooperation.”

Don raised his hand and wiped away the cold sweat on his forehead and repeatedly complied.

At the other end, Yves was also done taking count of all the medicinal materials. He had already gottenthe staff to move the boxes in before walking toward both of them.

Don had obviously done such work many times. Seeing him come over, he immediately handed overthe list.

Yves glanced at Rosalie. It was reasonable to assume that the person in charge should personally signthe list.novelbin

Rosalie nodded to him slightly.

Yves hesitated for a moment but still took the list and put down his signature.

Don did not accept the list after he signed it. He seemed to be thinking of something.

There was an imperceptible frown on Yves’ lips, and he urged as if nothing had happened, “Mr. Juan?”

Don suddenly came back to his senses and took back the list with another apology. It was not untilRosalie brought up work to discuss that he finally left.

Seeing off the Quirkes’ men, they turned back and entered the research institute.

“Is this batch of medicinal materials enough?” Rosalie asked.

Yves followed behind her. Hearing this, he nodded slightly. “The Quirke family seemed to have sentmore than we ordered, probably to compensate US for Don having rejected US yesterday. It’ll beenough for some time. There might even be a surplus.”

Hearing this, Rosalie frowned slightly. “Why didn’t you mention it just now?”

Yves frowned slightly. “I wanted to, but when I saw the list of medicinal materials he gave me, thenumber on it was the same as the number I pointed out. Hence, I didn’t bring it up.” 1

If he had said it in front of Don just now, it would be inevitable that he would take the opportunity to takecredit and brush off the rejection from yesterday.

Of course, Yves would not give him this opportunity.

Rosalie knew what he was thinking and smiled tacitly.

However, this matter also seemed to be what Andrius intended. She could not mention it in front ofDon, but she would have to say her thanks to Andrius.

Rosalie immediately called Andrius after returning to her office.

The call was quickly accepted. Even before Rosalie could say anything, a voice sounded. “Dr. Jacobs, have you received the Quirkes’ medicinal materials?”

Rosalie answered with a smile, “We’ve received them. The people from your company arrived earlierthan me. Not to mention, I also noticed that the medicinal materials the Quirke family sent were muchmore than what I ordered. I suppose that was your intention?”

Andrius was noncommittal, “what happened yesterday must have brought a lot of trouble to yourresearch institute. After you left, my grandfather lectured me again after. This matter was indeed ourresponsibility, and I don’t know how else to compensate you. I hope you’ll accept it.”

On the other hand, it was also out of Andrius’ selfishness that he asked Don to send more of themedicinal materials. He was hoping to make up the Quirke family’s image in Rosalie’s and the otheremployees of the research institute’s hearts.

Knowing that this amount of medicinal material was nothing to the Quirke family, Rosalie no longerrestrained herself, she just said, “Then I won’t hold myself back. This batch of medicinal materials hasreally helped me solve our urgent needs. I’ll go to your door to thank you in person another day.”

Andrius smiled. “That’s great, and it also saves my grandpa from always talking about you.”

After a small chat, the two hung up the phone.
