Estie looked at their backs eagerly. When she saw that the beautiful aunt did not intend on lookingback, she turned around and tugged on Daddy’s sleeve. Byron frowned a little and sternly called out toRosalie, “Miss Jacobs, if you don’t mind, shall we go together?”
Rosalie stopped in her tracks and turned to look back at the man, looking distant. “I don’t mind taking astroll with you and Miss Fuller, but I don’t really feel like being a third wheeler. It’s better that you don’ttrouble me, President Lawrence.”
Without even giving him the chance to say a thing, Rosalie took the two little guys and strode away.
The sight of Rosalie and the two little guys turning their backs to leave made Byron’s expression turncold.
