Chapter 2037

Chapter 2037 Good Discussion

They had not seen each other for only a year, and Faye felt that a great change had taken place inRosalie.

Are you so confident now just because you’ve reconnected with your ex-husband?’

Lawrence Corporation did not occur to her when she heard Byron’s name just now.

Now, she remembered. Byron Lawrence was now the number one figure in domestic business. Henever appeared on the list of wealthy people, but everyone knew that he was at the top.

Even the conglomerates and the powerful in Europe deeply respected Byron.

Realizing this, Faye was full of astonishment and shock. Finally, she was filled to the brim with deepenvy and jealousy.

‘Why is Rosalie so lucky? Why her?’

Faye was filled with resentment inside. She naturally would not give in to Rosalie. “I don’t think there’sanything to talk about. If you really want to go against the professor’s arrangement, then I have nothingto say. Let us all leave immediately!”

She left her harsh words with a determined look on her face.

She thought Rosalie would be intimidated.

Unexpectedly, Rosalie replied with indifference, “This time, it’s not about me alone. I’ll stand my groundto the end. If you don’t want to talk, that’s fine with me. Please leave. You know your way out!”novelbin

This time, even if Rosalie did not fight for herself, she must stand up for the future of Yves, Mr. Loewe, and the team.

‘If Faye is allowed to control the research institute now, she’ll definitely eradicate dissidents andeliminate everyone who opposes her.’

Faye’s face froze when she heard Rosalie’s answer.

She clenched her teeth and hissed a cold retort. “You really don’t take our professor seriously, do you?”

“I’ll explain the situation to him for sure.” Rosalie immediately ignored her, turned around, and noddedtoward Yves and Mr. Loewe.

The message conveyed in her eyes was clear— ‘Everyone back to work and stop entertaining thesepeople.’

Now, it had become awkward for Faye.

The originally murderous audit team that planned to draw blood with their sudden attack unexpectedlyencountered such a fortified resistance.

She knew that it would be embarrassing to give up now.

She could not help but regret why she stopped to find out how Rosalie was doing. Perhaps it would nothave been a bad idea to accept Rosalie’s suggestion to discuss earlier,

especially if Rosalie could come up with a good offer.

Faye caught a glimpse of the playful sneer at the corner of Byron’s mouth.

She felt a stab in her chest.

This was equivalent to Rosalie getting a checkmate.

If she left just like that, who else in the entire group would listen to her in the future?

“Rosalie, wait a minute. Perhaps we could have a good discussion. Forgive me for being impulsive!”Faye spoke up while holding back her frustration.

Rosalie paused after barely taking a few steps forward. She turned her head, but her eyes were eerilycalm. “Really? Then you’re welcome to my office to have a discussion, Faye.”

She walked up to Mr. Loewe and said in a firm voice, “Mr. Loewe, let everyone go back to their postsand just do their jobs well. I promise to negotiate an acceptable outcome for everyone!”

Mr. Loewe should be relieved with Rosalie’s promise, but he still could not help himself. “Rosalie, thewhole institute was built by your painstaking effort. You have to think more about yourself. We’ll neverworry about any kind of crisis. After all, the rewards from Petal Talk Group are already enough. Everytechnician is very grateful to you.”

Rosalie was suddenly moved and nodded.

Immediately, Mr. Loewe led everyone back to their respective positions. Rosalie and Faye went to thegeneral

manager’s office.

Yves pulled Byron abruptly with vigilance in his eyes. “Mr. Lawrence, Chairwoman Jacobs gave me anorder just now to deal with something immediately. I hope you can help me. r*

Byron did not even wait for an explanation. He just nodded and agreed.
