Daniel was taken aback. “The Lawrence family?’
He had just been transferred over from the North and was still not entirely clear on the businessconnections here.
Moreover, he saw no connection between the famous Byron Lawrence of Lawrence Corporation andthe person in front of him who looked too young to be Byron.
From Daniel’s point of view, every businessman here would always try to get along with him.
However, the other parents immediately recognized the three children.
“Aren’t those the three genius children we’ve all heard about that just started school here?”
“It should be them. A pair of twins and an adorable younger sister. It is them! We’re done for. I heardtheir parents are not to be trifled with.”
“The… The Lawrence family? The reigning family of Coast City, the Lawrence family?”
Those parents immediately look shocked with fright. There was fear in their eyes as they looked atByron and Rosalie.
One of them quickly ran over and tugged at Daniel while blinking repeatedly as he crazily hinted atDaniel.
Daniel was taken aback. “What do you mean by the reigning family of Coast City?”
His eyes met with Byron’s sharp glance almost immediately and Daniel’s heart begin to thump withfear.
“By… Byron Lawrence? Mr. Lawrence?” Daniel was still in slight disbelief.
He ended up stammering.
Even though he was considered middle-management that was highly regarded enough by the school togive him some leeway, he was not at the level of being able to go head-to- head with Byron Lawrenceof Lawrence Corporation.
He was in complete fright as his expression froze. He could not help gulping a few times.
“So, can you tell me why did your son attack two of my children?”
Byron said through clenched teeth very coldly.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Lawrence. My son is stubborn and naughty. I did a bad job of educating him. Darn it! I’llteach him a lesson immediately!” One of the parents snapped out of it and immediately went to his sonand gave him a big slap.
The other parents caught on and quickly began apologizing.
“It was my son’s fault, Mr. Lawrence. I’ll get him to apologize to the two young masters immediately!”novelbin
“I didn’t teach my son well, Mr. Lawrence, which is why he is behaving so terribly. Come over herequick and apologize to the two young masters of the Lawrence family! Are you deaf?”
Besides Zack, the parents of the other three children’s parents immediately stopped being biased overtheir own children and began beating, slapping, and whacking their children’s butts.
Those three children instantly cried and shouted from the beating. They could not understand why theywere treated that way today. They had always turned out fine after bullying other children with Zack.
Zack was stunned as he watched this. He began to ask his father, “Dad, what’s going on? All I did waspush those twins. Why aren’t you saying anything, Dad?”
“You little brat!”
Daniel finally understood what it felt like to be implicated in his son’s doing. His son had always been apresumptuous bully and Daniel had finally gotten into trouble because of him.
He went straight toward his son and wanted to simulate the other parents by physically punishing himin public with a good beating as a way to appease the Lawrence family.
However, he did not expect Byron to stop him.
Rosalie had the same idea as her husband then. She clenched her teeth and said coldly, “Mr.Lundgren, I don’t like this way of handling things. Are you planning to let this slide by punishing yourchildren this way? Wouldn’t my two sons get hurt for nothing this way?”
Daniel was taken aback. There was a complicated look on his face as his eyes filled with panic. Hequickly said, “Yes, yes, you’re right. We should apologize and compensate you for it! You must be theyoung madam of the Lawrence family. I’m so sorry. My son is just too naughty!”
“You don’t need to apologize! And we don’t need any compensation! Just punish these four childrenaccording to our way!”
Byron raised his hand and the other parents, who were creating a ruckus, finally quieted down.
