Chapter 1981 If You Apologize to Me
Mary did bring with her a huge bucket of water. She did not even care about how inappropriate it mightlook. She clenched her teeth and splashed the water onto Kelly viciously.
She made sure that every part of Kelly was drenched, and it was chilling to the bone.
“If murder wasn’t illegal, I would have splashed scalding molten iron all over her!” Mary staredvenomously at Kelly, waiting for her reaction.
Byron and Rosalie watched quietly from the side-lines, waiting for the look on the woman’s face whenshe realized what had just happened.
It was after a few seconds when Kelly slowly opened her eyes.
She looked dazed at first, and a shocked look next appeared on her face as she turned to look at Byronand Rosalie.
Kelly snapped out of it.
There was panic on her face. When she saw how completely drenched she was, she immediatelycoiled up and kept retreating with a complicated look in her eye.
“Looks like President Lawrence has me cornered. It’s no surprise that this came from the man I wasonce obsessed with. Such intelligence!”
When she saw how close Rosalie was leaning onto Byron, all that was left in Kelly’s eyes was deephatred. She glared at Rosalie.
Rosalie was not one to be intimidated by that look in Kelly’s eyes.
She felt that this woman did not dare to look straight at her husband.
Rosalie knew that Kelly was trying to provoke her, but Rosalie was not in the mood to reply thatwoman.
She was not worth the time.
Talking to her was just a waste of energy.
Byron was not bothered with her as well. All he did was reach out to hold his wife’s hand with a lovinglook in his eyes.
Such a scene deflated Kelly’s arrogance.
She had wanted to display a nonchalant attitude and show them that there was nothing for her to beafraid of, but in the end, she was unable to face the truth, that Byron and Rosalie belonged to eachother.
“Kelly Payton, were you behind everything that happened in this hospital?” Mary realized that thiswoman was still arrogant enough to act so brazenly.
Before Kelly could answer, Mary slapped her.
The loud slap came so suddenly that Kelly was not prepared to defend herself.
A red mark immediately appeared on her cheek, but the vicious look in her eyes did not vanish. Shetilted her head and looked straight at Mary and a smirk appeared on her lips. “I was the one who did it.What can you do about it? Did you enjoy the surprise?”
“Surprise… Those are dozens of lives. You call that a surprise? Alright, let me show you today what areal surprise is like!”
Mary was in a furious temper. She did not even care about her image as she grabbed Kelly’s hair andgave her two more slaps, one on each cheek.
Kelly did not even attempt to struggle. Blood dripped from the corner of her mouth she began laughingcrazily.
“Haha. Rosalie Jacobs, Mary Wilson, I must have gotten you good. It’s fine if you want to kill me now! Ifeel great about it! It won’t be long before both of you will be completely infected by the new virus. You’lldie too when the time comes!”
Rosalie watched Kelly getting full of herself and replied coldly with a calm look one used when facing amad person.
“Cough cough…” Rosalie could not help coughing as she felt an itch in her throat.
Byron was in no mood to deal with Kelly. He asked his wife in concern, “How are you feeling? Are youokay?”
He picked up a cup of water with his other hand and passed it to his wife.novelbin
“Hahaha! You’re indeed infected. It looks like you’re infected too, Mary Wilson! You won’t be able toescape from a
closed space like this!” Kelly was heinously excited about this.
She turned to look immediately at Byron and her expression immediately turned calm. “I admit thatyou’re a very capable person, Byron Lawrence, but you won’t be able to get the medication for this soeasily. I guess you must already be infected too. If you’re willing enough to apologize to me, I might beable to help you solve this.”
