Chapter 1966

When the children returned from school, Rosalie told them their godmother wanted to meet and playwith them. The three little kids were thrilled and waited fortheir godmother to pick them up.

Mary arrived at the manor 20 minutes later and picked up the children.

Rosalie discussed this with Byron and decided to tell Benedict and Melody about her pregnancy.

“Dad, Mom, Byron and I have something to tell you,” Rosalie said to the two elders.

The two heard their daughter-in-law’s tone and were shocked, thinking something terrible hadhappened.

They thought that it must be something Byron could not settle, so they needed their help. In that case,it must be a big matter.

Rosalie did not realize that there was anything wrong with the tone of her statement.

After they entered the room, Byron looked at his parents with a smile.

“Byron, is something wrong?” Melody asked impatiently.

Byron and Rosalie looked at each other. They were unable to hide their joy. They asked Benedict andMelody to have a seat.

“Dad, Mom, you look so nervous. What’s wrong? I told Rosalie to tell you happy news!” Byron could nothide his smile.

Soon, Rosalie also noticed the expressions of the nervous elders and told them the news.

“Mom, Dad, we might be expecting our fourth baby!”

“What?’

“Really?novelbin

Benedict and Melody were startled for a few seconds before looking at each other in disbelief.

“Rosalie, are you telling the truth? Have you finally gotten pregnant? This… is a great surprise!” Melodycould not help but clap and got up. She approached Rosalie and held her hands.

Benedict was also beaming with joy, and he scratched his head as he asked, “Great! What should weprepare, then? Melody, you should start taking care of Rosalie’s diet.”

Melody agreed. “That’s for sure. Quick! Rosalie, write down what you want to eat and drink. I can cookanything for you. Even if I don’t know how to cook it, I can learn!”

Byron had expected this reaction from his parents.

“Mom, Dad, don’t get too excited. As for caring for Rosalie during her pregnancy, I’ve signed up forclasses and will take care of the whole process. Dad, you’ll be responsible for the three kids. Mom, youcan be in charge of the food. Let’s all get ready for the fourth little one!”

Byron was indeed the president of Lawrence Corporation. He had reasonably arranged the duties ofeveryone in the family.

Rosalie did not expect getting pregnant with this fourth baby to make such a commotion.

She felt happy and blessed.

The fourth baby was a blessing. They were more blessed than their brothers and sister.

At this point, she took the initiative to express her thoughts,” Dad, Mom, Byron, thank you foreverything. However, there’s one thing I should warn everyone about. There is one thing we all need todo, and that is not to let Lucian, Nox, and Estie think we’re biased. We’ll treat them all the same. Wecan’t focus so much on the fourth baby that we forget about the three of them. I think it’s better to dothings in a normal way.”

Benedict and Melody nodded in agreement upon hearing Rosalie’s words.

Byron was shocked to hearthat. He realized it was possible he would have made the mistake Rosaliejust mentioned.

Thus, he reminded himself that he should treat each child fairly.
