“Gordon, no matter how the Lawrence family reacts, we must ask for the betrothal gift this time. Lasttime, Byron divorced Rosie before we could even be happy about her marriage. We shouldn’t go easyon them!”
Violet instigated her husband, thinking about how much would be suitable.

Gordon nodded. “Of course, I know this. Rosie’s mother passed away early. After all, she was raised byme. How can she get married without any etiquette?”
“Do you think 30 million is too much?” Violet’s eyes glowed with greediness.
“That’s not too much. I’d like to see how much they’ll offer. The more they give, the better.” Gordon wasalready planning deep down.
After discussing this, they finally decided to meet Rosalie first.
They did not have Rosalie’s mobile phone number. Just as they were worried, Violet came up withsomething and searched for Petal Talk’s official number.
The call was answered by customer service. When the customer service lady heard that Violet waslooking for the chairwoman, she immediately thought there was a product problem and planned torecord the feedback.
Violet was finally impatient, and she told the customer service her identity, “We’re the parents of yourchairwoman, Rosalie Jacobs. We just returned to this city and don’t know her mobile phone number, sogive it to us.”
“We can’t convey your request. Please look into other ways yourself. Feel free to call us if you need totalk about the products!”
Violet was pissed off that the customer service associate hung up her call. She complained about it forsome time.
Realizing this would not work, Benedict pondered and asked the hotel receptionist to call Melody,telling her they wanted to speak to her about something.
Meanwhile, Melody received the call in the Lawrence family’s mansion. She heard that Gordon andViolet were looking for her and Benedict, which worried her.
“Benedict, Rosie wants us to ignore them. However, is that inappropriate? If we don’t attend them well,it might ruin the Lawrence family’s reputation.” Melody was still hesitant.
Although Rosalie was very determined, she feared Rosalie might change her attitude and blame theLawrence family. That would not be nice.
Benedict’s forehead creased. He was worried about the same thing.
They had to do it decently even if they did not want to care about those two. At least, the Lawrencefamily had to respect Gordon for courtesy’s sake. Otherwise, it would make the Lawrence family lookstingy and shallow-minded.
Thus, he thought they should get advice from his son.
When Byron answered the call, Rosalie was beside him, and she still insisted on ignoring her fatherand stepmother.
Byron did not say much and directly conveyed his wife’s intention.
Finally, Rosalie also realized it was inappropriate to push the decision to Byron’s family.
This was her problem, and she had to solve it herself.
Thus, she decided to personally go to the hotel to make things clear with Gordon and Violet.
“I’ll go with you.” Byron hurried upstairs and got Rosalie a cardigan to put on as the night breeze wouldbe cold.
Then, the two headed to the hotel.
Byron noticed Rosalie seemed mad and comforted her, ” Honey, there’s no need to be angry. Take iteasy. Just be frank with people like them. It’s not worth getting too emotional over them.”
Feeling the warmth from the man’s palm, Rosalie smiled, nodded, and tried to control her emotions.
