Chapter 1905 It’s Amazing

Rosalie accompanied Byron to the airport.

Both of them were shocked when they saw Lucas. They could hardly recognize him.

His refined-looking face was tanned, and he looked more energetic than before.

After experiencing the difficulty of his journey, he changed a lot.

“Byron, Miss Jacobs… No, Mrs. Lawrence, why did you both come? It’s troublesome to come all theway to the airport to pick me up at an hour like this.”

Lucas grinned.

Byron glanced at Lucas calmly and asked, “Did you encounter anything on this trip to Africa?”novelbin

He was sharp and noticed that Lucas’ smile seemed to be not that happy. Something must havehappened, and he seemed to be troubled by it.

Lucas nodded, yet he answered, “It’s nothing big. We can talk about it later.”

“Congratulations, Byron, Rosalie! It’s great to hear you're marrying again. The ticket to fly back fromAfrica wasn't easy to book. There were no direct flights, and I needed to transit somewhere else beforeflying here. That’s why I arrived at midnight.”

“It’s okay. We're happy that you're back to attend our wedding,” Rosalie smiled and answered. Shewanted to help Lucas push his suitcase, but Lucas rejected it.

“Get into the car.”

Byron only said that, and the three of them got into the car.

In the car, Lucas frankly told Byron why he wanted him to pick him up from the airport.

He did not want to return home, afraid his family might nag him. Thus, he decided to stay at Byron’splace temporarily.

Rosalie agreed to let Lucas stay. It would not affect them. After all, the guest room on the third floorwas empty.

“Of course, I also want to meet Estie and see how much she has recovered.”

Lucas had spent plenty of effort on curing Estelle. He had tried countless psychological treatments onEstelle but they had all failed.

Instead, it was Rosalie’s presence as Estelle’s mother that cured Estelle’s illness drastically. That waswhat Lucas was interested in studying.

He wanted to look into the curing effect of blood relationships on psychological disorders.

“Estie’s change might be out of your expectation,” Byron smiled as he said.

Lucas nodded. “That’s good. I'd also like to meet and get along with those two little geniuses. I'd like tostudy them too, if possible.”

“Heh! So, now my kids are your experimental subjects?”

They chatted as they headed to Lawrence Manor. Lucas was tired because of the long flight. Thehusband and wife showed him to his room so that he could rest early.

When they returned to their room, Byron’s forehead puckered as he mentioned, “Looks like Lucas isindeed in trouble.”

Rosalie also noticed Lucas did not seem right.

She nodded and told Byron to find an opportunity to talk to Lucas about it.

It would be bad if Lucas turned out to be like Andrius, burdened by the stress of life yet keepingeverything to himself. If that went on, he might get ill.

The three kids woke up early the following morning and exercised on the lawn.

It was the exercise routine their mommy had planned for them. They had to do it daily to stay healthyand fit to pursue their dreams.

Lucas heard the children’s laughter. After getting off the bed, he held a glass of water and headed tothe veranda as he looked at the three little ones from there.

That was his habit. He loved to observe people and their behaviors.

Estelle was jumping around and playing with her brothers as she chuckled happily.

A smile appeared on Lucas’ face as he watched.

“Looks like she has recovered. It’s amazing to see someone with a psychological illness curedcompletely. It's usually more difficult than curing physical illness. The success rate is very low,” hepondered as he muttered.

Then, after finishing the water in his glass, he decided to greet the kids after washing up.
