Chapter 1897 Good Vacation

Early the next morning, Andrius came over.

Byron ordered the kitchen to make a hearty breakfast spread and drank morning tea with him.

The two chatted over food, and Byron expressed his wife's wishes.

According to past habits, Andrius would probably just nod his head and answer "Yes".

Unexpectedly, this time he suddenly hesitated and looked at Byron cautiously.

"Byron, I, can I refuse?"

Byron was stunned.

Immediately, he frowned involuntarily.

Andrius immediately took it that Byron was upset and quickly explained. "Byron, I know this is mysister-in-law's sincerity, I just... feel a little tired recently."

Byron came back to his senses, immediately shook his head, and said, "No, no need to explain, I'm notangry."

He looked at Andrius with gentle eyes.

For so many years, Andrius had always been following him around, never saying no.

No matter what decision he made or what goal he wanted, Andrius would resolutely carry it out andnever complained.

It was absolute trust, a tacit understanding.

Byron was so grateful that he has such a perfect brother.

Right now, after Chloe’s incident and being rejected by Andrius.

Byron could not help but start to reflect.

‘Was I always on my high horse, so that I’ve never taken his feelings into account?

‘Or, was my ruthless style causing him to be afraid?’

No matter what the reason was, Byron realized some of his shortcomings.novelbin

Andrius finally summoned up the courage to refuse but hesitated to take it back upon seeing thechange in Byron’s face.

‘A share of 5 billion dollars; the CEO position, and the future of Petal Talk Group, isn’t any of these thedream of those in the industry?’

"Byron, I’ll just accept it. You and my sister-in-law are both thinking of me. If I join the Petal Talk Group, the Quirke family would have core assets in the future."

He spoke, but Byron rejected it with a wave of his hand. "No, no, don't rush. I was just thinking aboutsomething just now, and I'm fine now.

"Have a cup of tea first, and then think about it for three minutes. I’ll wait for you to think it over!"

Byron was touched over Andrius’ hesitation.

‘He is too cautious, always suppressing his true feelings, and worrying too much about others.

‘How can such a person be happy?’

After finishing speaking, ignoring Andrius' surprise, Byron just drank his tea without saying a word.

Andrius thought about it after a long time.

No one knew that his condition had recently become more severe.

He suddenly felt a deep frustration.

Not interested in anything.

A series of troubling thoughts would pop up occasionally.

He did not understand what the problem was. In short, he was a walking corpse, unable to feel anyemotions himself.

Joy, anger, and sorrow are all gone.

Yet, he could not find anyone to express it. He considered looking for Mary to get her professional help.

In the end, he hesitated.

He was very worried that too many of his negative emotions would only make others feeluncomfortable and pressured.

In his mind, many rational plans and emotional thoughts were constantly in a battle.

‘Why did I suddenly reject the offer?

‘The heart made the decision because it is already overwhelmed.

Refusing the Petal Talk opportunity was not the only matter. Perhaps, he even needed to take a goodvacation.
