The two talked for a while, and Rosalie saw through her best friend’s lack of confidence andencouraged her.
However, Mary still smiled bitterly. Eventually, she diverted the topic to Rosalie’s wedding.

Lucia and Nox were also good kids. They held Rosalie’s arms and spoke to her.
“What are you doing? Do you want me to agree to something? Just say it!”
Looking at the children, Rosalie felt they were acting strange.
Byron smiled and shook his head. “They're not asking for anything. They're just happy. I went throughthe photo album with them, and they all understand how hard you’ve worked these past few years.”
“Yes. Rosie, life must have been hard for you, especially all those years abroad, with two kids, medicalschool, and a career. I really admire you! In the past, I was blind and didn’t realize how good you were!”
Melody praised sincerely.
She had changed a lot.
Rosalie had even doubted her sincerity at first, wondering if it was all in her imagination.
Benedict nodded slightly and smiled, obviously feeling Melody’s praise was slightly over the top. Itseemed as though she was flattering Rosalie.
“Well, let me know if there’s anything I can do to help. It’s my wedding, after all, and you guys can’t doeverything yourselves.” This was the kind of family atmosphere that any woman would dream of.
Rosalie still felt that everything was so unreal. She could not just stand and do nothing. She had to dosomething so that she would remember this pleasant moment.
However, Byron shook his head. He pondered and glanced at Rosalie’s belly.
“There’s only one thing you can do now. The kids are waiting to have a brother or sister. My mom anddad have the same thought in mind. After all, when Estie was a baby, they couldn't take good care of
her because she was ill. Moreover, Estie was also reluctant to be close to them. So…”
Rosalie suddenly realized why everyone was so nice to her.
They were waiting for her to bring them a baby.
She did have such a plan in mind.
As her husband said, everyone in the family had certain regrets.
The last time they got married, it only lasted three years, and they brought up their kids alone for sixyears. It was not what a normal family should do.
