Chapter 1858 The Cold-Hearted Man

After a while, Byron called.

Rosalie walked out of the office and explained the situation.

"Aunt Wilson's life is on the line now. I may not go back tonight. I must find out the problem and solve itas soon as possible to save Aunt Wilson's life!" Rosalie said in a heavy tone.

"Okay, call me right away if you need me. I'll take care of the kids. You don't have to worry aboutanything. Take care of yourself!"

Her husband always supported her firmly no matter what. Rosalie felt warm inside. Her spirits lifted, and she re-entered the office.

Mary was no longer looking at the information but staring blankly at a photo she had taken with hermother on her phone.

Before Rosalie could speak, the tears in Mary’s eyes began to fall silently again.

"Rosie, I'm so useless. I can’t find any way to save my mother! I'm a loser!"

She blamed herself, and her face was full of grief. Her tears could not stop as her sobs turned intowails.novelbin

At this time, Rosalie could only hug her best friend tightly because there was nothing she could say tocomfort her.

Rosalie's eyes were damp and close to tears.

"Rosie, my mother has had a difficult life. Her life is so tough! That cold-hearted man abandoned usboth and ignored us for more than 20 years. He only gave us money and never even visited us. I don't

understand why my mother is still foolishly waiting. That man will never change his mind. He's the mostdisgusting man in the world!"

In grief, Mary slowly brought up her family.

She grew up in a single-parent family. Her mother fell in love with the heir of a prominent family whenshe was young, and the man promised to marry her.

In the end, her father was at a disadvantage in the process of inheritance because of a power grabamong the other brothers. Therefore, to consolidate his position, her father chose to marry a younglady from a wealthy family.

"At that time, my mother was already pregnant with me. She didn't want to get rid of me, so sheendured everything and gave birth to me. To protect me and avoid being targeted by that family, shewas even unwilling to let me visit her at home over the years. She has always kept me away, so I'vebeen staying in Coast City and rarely go back.

"Rosie, my mother has had such a difficult life! I was deeply moved when I saw that you were finallyable to get together with Byron. My mother didn't have such a good life!"

Rosalie felt mixed feelings. Her face was filled with sadness when she heard her best friend reveal thesecret she had hidden for many years.

Mary stopped crying while talking. Rosalie picked up a tissue and wiped away Mary’s tears.

"Mae, don't you forget who we are. Now is not the time to be sad. We still have a chance. Believe me!"Rosalie sorted out her emotions and finally put on a resolute expression.

Mary raised her head and nodded heavily.

"Contact all the surgeons in the hospital to work overtime now. In addition, let’s take another set of CTscans. However, let Aunt Wilson lie on her back this time. I want to find out what's going on with thespot on the back of the heart. Maybe that’s our chance!"

Mary kicked into action immediately after Rosalie’s order.

At the same time, Rosalie made preparations. She called Byron and asked him to go to the study andfind the Greenbloom Needling Technique Manual. Luther was tasked to send it to the hospital.
