Chapter 1856 Successful Signing

After the research institute’s management-level meeting, everyone unanimously agreed to expandtoward the cosmeceutical business.

After all, this would not only improve benefits for all but accumulate more funds to conduct moreexpensive experiments.

With her excellent memory, Rosalie explained all the details.

Everyone was convinced, and there was nothing to add.

However, Rosalie still called Byron to double-confirm the feasibility of the business.

"No problem. Chloe is responsible for the investment anyway, while most of the benefits belong to you,so give it a try!"

Byron’s answer made Rosalie feel much more at ease.

That afternoon, Rosalie called Chloe to accept the offer and asked when the funds would be available.

Chloe answered 30 million for the first phase and 70 million for the second phase. The additional fundsfor the third phase would depend on the situation.

Funding would be available today.

Rosalie could not nitpick this efficiency and immediately asked Linda to apply for company registrationin the fastest way.

In the evening, Rosalie brought her core staff, including Mr. Loewe and his team, while Chloe broughtsome long-term investors from her family. Both parties held a signing ceremony at the hotel.

Just like that, their partnership simply began!

After the ceremony, a sumptuous dinner ensued.

However, the people on both sides were not from the same circle. Rosalie's side was full of scientificresearchers, and they do not seem to have much in common with the investors.

After the simple meal, Rosalie asked Linda to make arrangements to send them home.

Those investors were not displeased at all. They chatted and drank, then they dispersed after a while.

In the end, only Rosalie and Chloe were left.

Rosalie raised her glass and nodded with a smile. "Miss Lincoln, I hope we have a happy cooperation."

"Rosalie, that’s too formal. Just call me Chloe like how Byron does. From today, we're alreadypartners."

Chloe secretly admired Rosalie for being able to confirm such a big investment decision in such a shorttime.

Rosalie was vigorous and resolute. She would not let go when she had decided to seize theopportunity.

On the other hand, Chloe could not even compare to Kelly because she was the one who came up withthe whole plan.

"Great, we're in an alliance from today onward. The work will be much harder on your end soon. Ourresearch institute will almost use up the 30 million in the first stage. The funds to build the factory in thesecond phase must hurry."

Rosalie briefly stated her needs, and Chloe agreed to everything.

The two drank a few more glasses. Suddenly, Rosalie received a call from Mary. Her best friendsounded somewhat dejected.novelbin

Rosalie was startled, quickly bid goodbye to Chloe, and went straight to the hospital.

She went straight to the director's office when she reached the hospital. When Rosalie opened the doorand entered, she found Mary's face filled with sadness.

Mary looked up. Her eyes were bloodshot.

"What happened? Who hurt you? Tell me!" Rosalie was so distressed looking at her heartbroken bestfriend, who was usually optimistic.

She walked over, hugged her, and rubbed her on the shoulder.

Mary hugged Rosalie back tighter, tears streaming down her face. "Rosie, my mother… My mothermay be dying..."

Rosalie was stunned for several seconds.

Then, she quickly asked, "What's going on? Tell me. Don't worry, maybe there’s a way."

Mary was helpless seeing Rosalie's anxious face. "Rosie, I'm also a doctor. I know it. My mother's heartdisease… She can’t take it anymore."
