Chapter 1834 I'm So Terrible

In the evening back at the villa.

Once again, Rosalie emphasized to Lucian and Nox to be wary of criminals. They must know how todistinguish and beware of doing things for others online.

For example, it would be unacceptable to be hired to attack a website, or to ask for money in return forhelping others.

"Estie doesn't understand but both of you have to. You must help her gatekeep! Don't turn goodintentions into bad actions." Rosalie emphasized strongly.

The two nodded and made a promise to identify clearly.

Estie was still immersed in happiness. The joy of helping others, which was the simplest form of humanemotion.

Among the children they had met, a girl gave her a beautiful hair clip, which she cherished very much.

Not long after, Benedict and Melody came by car.

This was not the first time Benedict came to teach Lucian and Nox how to play chess.

It did not take long for the grandfather and his grandsons to kick up a ferocious battle.

Melody came over and cooked personally. She wanted to make soup for the kids.

Byron did not say anything. He just went upstairs to the study room and got busy with work.

Rosalie was also working at first. She has been prescribed some medication for Andrius. Once shewas done, she went downstairs to take a look.

Suddenly, Rosalie heard a scream from the kitchen. She hurried over.

Melody’s face was in agony. The palm of her right hand was red and soaking in a basin of water.

She was never accustomed to chores, and she seldom cooked on weekdays.

So, she did not pay attention after the soup was ready as it overflowed and splashed onto the back ofher hand.

The burn was so painful that tears almost fell out.

However, she held back.

"Auntie Melody, are you burned? No, this wouldn’t do! Hurry!"

Rosalie approached and immediately took Melody's hand out of the basin, turned on the faucet, and letthe water rinse continuously over the wound.

"The first step in scalding is to rinse with cold water for fifteen minutes. Soaking the burn in water is notenough, it would blister very quickly!"

Rosalie’s tone was professional like a true doctor.

Melody was embarrassed when Rosalie grabbed her hand. She was apologetic as she looked atRosalie.

"I'm so terrible, I can't do such a simple thing well. I'm sorry, Rosalie."

"Auntie Melody, you could just let the kitchen staff prepare the soup. You don't have to do it yourself."

Rosalie knew that Melody was trying to make up for what she owed for the past six years.

"I just want Lucian and Nox to taste the soup I made. Sigh, I’m just too careless!" Melody'sawkwardness at the beginning gradually disappeared as Rosalie continued to hold her hand. Shebegan to feel something different inside as she looked at Rosalie.

"Okay, I understand. You keep it under the running water first. I'll go upstairs to get the medicine toapply it for you. Fortunately, the burn is not serious." Rosalie hurried upstairs after giving instructions.novelbin

Benedict heard the conversation between the two and rushed over to check on his wife's situation.

"Why are you so careless?" He exclaimed. His brows were furrowed but his eyes were full of concern.

The children heard it too, and they all asked with concern.

"Grandma, are you okay? Let's skip the soup next time so that you won't get burned."

"Grandma, does it hurt? You can ask us to help. Or ask Daddy and Mommy to help. Mommy said thatyou must be careful of burns in the kitchen."

When Melody heard Lucian and Nox's concern, her frown slowly relaxed.

She shook her head and comforted the children in turn. "Grandma is fine, don't worry. Your Mommy willapply the medicine for Grandma later, and I’ll be okay soon."

At this moment, she felt inexplicably peaceful and full of warmth.

Melody glanced at her husband with a slight smile on her lips.
