Chapter 1819 The Quirke Family Doesn’t Need To Compensate

Andrea was in a smug state. She asked her assistant to urge Rosalie’s research institute to pay for thematerials.

She wanted to make things difficult for Rosalie so that she would yield and speak to her nicely.

Before long, the assistant smiled and opened the office door.

“Miss Quirke, the payment has been debited into our account.” The assistant was thrilled, waiting forAndrea to praise her or offer her a bonus as a reward.

However, Andrea’s smile faded. She asked, “Paid? Did she pay in full?”

The assistant could not understand why Andrea looked gloomy even after she got the money.

She stopped smiling and nodded. “Yes. The payment is complete."

Andrea could not understand what had gone wrong.

She thought Rosalie would hold on to the matter and investigate it first.

She had charged Rosalie more than ten million bucks.

No company would readily pay such a high price.

Worried, Andrea beckoned her assistant to leave, and she dialed Alistair’s number.

After explaining the situation, she asked anxiously, “Alistair, do you think Byron and Rosalie might beup to something?”

Alistair pondered yet could not figure out what they might be up to.

Normally, when suppliers suddenly raised prices, downstream manufacturers would generally resist. Then, they would have a negotiation.

“Hold your horses. Now that you’ve made your money and are able to keep these companies firmly inyour hands, what's there to be afraid of?” Alistair comforted Andrea.

“Alright, I’ll meet you at the villa tonight.” Andrea missed him.

He did not refuse. After hanging up the call, he pondered.

Before long, he suddenly realized something and his face sank. “It seems that I'll lose a pawn again.”

In the afternoon, Andrius carried out the plan Rosalie and Byron had come up with.

Since his sister had increased the price maliciously, they would start a price war.

The method was simple and crude. They would increase all the prices and make them higher thanwhat Andrea had charged.

With this, the suppliers of Quirke Enterprise would be delighted and not fall into the hands of others. They would also supply a huge amount of medicinal materials.

Meanwhile, Andrea would lose the trust of the boss of the companies she had convinced.

Lancer Corporation had left behind 14 companies. That evening, ten companies requested tocooperate with Andrius.novelbin

By dinnertime, three more came.

Andrius accepted all of them and signed the contract. The price would be updated based on theseasonal price.

The price would increase this season no matter what.

The bosses of these companies were shocked by the price offered by Andrius and did not pay attentionto the dozens of pages of contracts. They signed the papers one after another.

After Byron and Rosalie had dinner, Andrius called to report the situation.

“As a result, all the 14 companies controlled by my sister have signed strategic cooperationagreements with me. According to this estimate, the estimated loss is close to two or three billion thisquarter, but they'll have to expand production next quarter, bringing prices back down. The pharmacistswon’t be making much less. The whole thing was a mistake on my part, and the Quirke family will bearthe loss.”

Byron smiled. The call was on speaker mode, and Rosalie heard it.

Rosalie immediately answered, “The Quirke family doesn’t need to compensate for the loss. Myresearch institute can grant a patent to a European pharmaceutical company. It’s worth about onebillion. We could take 200 million from it to make it up for your side. That'll be enough.”
