Chapter 1773 Blindly Happy For Several Days

Rosalie thoroughly enjoyed this meal.

The dishes that Chloe ordered were all signature dishes, it was a pity that she did not taste them.

After lunch, Byron took Rosalie to the mall and bought a lot of clothes and shoes.

Still in high spirits, Byron picked out several dresses and asked Rosalie to try them on.

Every time she wears it, she could see the man's eyes dazzled brightly.

"Beautiful, you look great. This dress was made just for you."

"This dress looks great too. It complements all the natural curves on your body!"

"Yeah, you must get this set. You looked like you just graduated college when you wear this. You lookyoung. Of course, I don't mean you are old! I just meant you are youthful!"

They had gone through an unknown number of outfits. In the end, there were too many shopping bags. After swiping the card, Byron asked the shopkeeper to deliver it to the villa in person.

For such a large sale transaction, the owner of the clothing store giddily agreed. Hundreds ofthousands of dollars were recorded in the account at once.

After Byron left, several salesgirls were whispering and ran over to report to the boss that it was Byron, the president of the Lawrence Corporation, who came just now.

The boss was dripping in sweat when he heard it. He angrily scolded them for not reminding him earlierjust now. He should have given President Lawrence a 50% discount.

After strolling around the mall for a while, Byron suddenly received a call from his mother, Melody.

Melody asked him to come to the Lawrence Family Mansion because she had something to discusswith him.

Rosalie overheard. "Send me back first, then."

"Okay, I'll send you home first before going to the mansion. If there’s nothing else, I'll drop by to pick upthe kids from school. Please rest at home and don't try to work secretly again."

On the way back to the villa, Byron's reminders never stopped.

Rosalie listened with a smile, nodded obediently, and agreed to everything he asked.

She found that after all that had happened, the man's temperament had changed dramatically too.

In the past, Byron was a man of few words.

Byron drove to the mansion after sending Rosalie back to the villa.

As soon as he entered the door, the atmosphere in the hall felt icy.

Melody, looking sullen, came up with a rapid-fire of questions. "Byron, can you explain to me whathappened to the marriage certificate with Chloe?"

Byron was unmoved. He had expected that his mother would intervene in this matter.

He explained casually. "Mom, the marriage certificate was just a last-minute solution to deal withXander Lancer. The marriage is fake, Chloe should have mentioned it too, right?"

"She did, she did mention it. Did you both conspire to make light of this? That's a marriage certificate, how could you do as you please?!" Melody was frustrated.

Originally, she was full of joy that her son was finally able to cut ties with Rosalie.

Finally, she was able to have a daughter-in-law that she approved of. Although the Lincolns were notas powerful as the Fullers back then, they were still considered a pedigree family.

She was blindly happy for several days.

In the end, it turned out to be a farce.

‘What was Chloe even thinking? Why would she put up an act with my son just to save Rosalie, whomshe had never met before?

‘This Chloe lacks a spine!’novelbin

"Mom, this is not a joke. It was all to save Rosalie's life! I’m grateful for Chloe's help, and I willcooperate with the Lincolns more that would benefit them in the future!"

Byron’s voice turned involuntarily cold when his mother took saving Rosalie's life so lightly.
