Chapter 1725 Get The Herbs

Mentioning Rosalie made Byron feel sad as he forced a smile. “It’s good to know the prescription willwork.”

Calian nodded, asked Linda for a pen, and added some herbs.

As he wrote, he exclaimed, “What a genius! A genius! She knew the antidote given by Xander was toease the poison temporarily. She could even find out the antidote for the poison. What a genius!”

Even such a genius could not avoid experiencing such pain…

Calian quickly finished up the prescription.

“Lucian hasn’t arrived. I’ll help out with getting the herbs first!”

Linda was so worried that she got up to offer to help.

Calian handed her the prescription, reminding her, “These herbs are rare. You must be careful not totake the wrong herbs.”

Linda nodded.

However, she was dumbfounded when she saw the prescription.

She thought that Calian was saying that a few drugs were unusual, but she did not realize that theprescription contained more than two dozen drugs, all of which were not commonly used.

Although she had worked in the institute for a while, during this time, she had been taking care ofadministrative matters. Thus, she did not know much about the placement of herbs.

The ones she remembered were not on the prescription.

Afraid of bringing more trouble to Rosalie, Linda had to give up and hand back the prescriptiongloomily. “Sorry, Sir. I think it’s better to wait for Lucian to come.”

Calian was puzzled and frowned.

Linda explained, “There are hundreds of medicinal materials in our study. Although they’ve beenclassified, it’s difficult for me to find the 20 or so rare medicinal materials among them. Only Lucian canremember them.”

When they mentioned Lucian again, Calian became more curious. “Who’s Lucian?”

Linda glanced at Byron.

“He’s Rosalie’s and my son,” Byron explained.

Upon hearing this, Calian nodded. “The children of smart people are also usually intelligent.”

Mary stared at Byron, bewildered.

Byron sounded as if he already knew Lucian and Nox were his children...

However, on second thought, it was unlikely for Rosalie to tell him yet as she had no time to do so.

Byron said so perhaps because he had taken Lucian and Nox as his children deep down.

Realizing this, Mary felt sad again.

She wished Rosalie could hold on as she had been waiting for this moment for years.

Everyone waited anxiously for Lucian’s arrival.

Ten minutes later, there was the sound of footsteps in the corridor.

Everyone in the laboratory got up and walked quickly to the door.

They saw Andrius walking into the research institute with the three little ones.

Andrius walked so fast that the little ones even had to trot to keep up with him, but no one said theywere tired.

“Daddy!”

Byron stood at the door, and the kids rushed toward him. They buried themselves in his arms.

Lucian stood aside, restraining his emotions. He looked at Mary and said, “Godmother, let’s go and getthose herbs.”

He remembered why he was asked to come and knew that time was precious. Otherwise, Andriuswould not have picked them up from the manor at night.novelbin

Mary looked at the strong boy and felt sad. She said nothing and forced a smile before taking Lucian byhis hand.
