Chapter 1711 Running Out Of Time

"Sir, are you Old Master Loewe?"

Finally recovering from the shock, Rosalie mentally matched the person in front of her with the photo ofthe Old Master when he was young.

Old Master Loewe nodded. He asked with concern. "How are you feeling now?"novelbin

Rosalie sat up straight respectfully. "Thank you for your concern, sir. I feel better now for the timebeing. It's rude of me to sit and greet you like this."

She tried to get out of bed as she spoke.

The old man waved his hand. "It's okay, you are a patient. Don’t bother with the formalities."

He turned to look at Byron. "How did Miss Jacobs wake up? Did some expert develop the antidote?"

Byron pressed Rosalie's shoulders, made her sit on the bed, and said, "I managed to get some fromXander Lancer, but the dosage was not enough to remove all the toxins in Rosalie's system. I’m afraidI’ll still your help for the remaining poison, sir."

Old Master Loewe nodded knowingly. "Of course."

He re-emerged from hiatus this time with the sole purpose of helping Rosalie recover. Naturally, hewould give his best.

"Just now, Andrius said that you’ve managed to figure out part of the poison, is it true?" Byron askedeagerly.

it will be much easier to develop an antidote if they knew the ingredients of the poison.

Old Master Loewe nodded and shared the results of his analysis with them.

Byron knew nothing about medicine. He had never heard of the herbs mentioned by the old man, so hecould only guess that those ingredients were relatively rare.

Rosalie was awe-struck as she listened to the old man's analysis.

When the old man finished, there was deep admiration in Rosalie's eyes. She could not help but sigh."You truly deserve the reputation as the Medicine King of North Atacan. These herbs aren’t particularlyrare, but they are rarely used and often overlooked. I am afraid that only you, a true master, would thinkof it!"

If the old man had not reminded Rosalie of these few herbs, she would have forgotten their existence!

Old Master Loewe shook his head. "Don't get too excited, this is only a part of it. If you want to developan antidote, you must find all of it."

Those remaining herbs must be listed in the Lancer family’s ancient medical books.

Even Old Master Loewe was helpless.

"I remember that you are Quentin Luke’s student. You must also have excellent medical skills. Now thatyou are awake, you would be able to help us find a solution."

Old Master Loewe looked at Rosalie with expectant eyes.

Rosalie just felt ashamed of being praised by the old man. "Compared to you, I am just a fledglingrookie. However, my own life is at stake, so I will do my best."

Her tone became firmer and more professional. "If you don't mind, sir, can you share with me whatyou’ve discovered over the past few days? I’m running out of time."

Old Master Loewe nodded in relief to see her getting into action so swiftly. He looked at her with a littlemore appreciation.

‘I have to say, this is one of the most decent doctors I’ve seen in the past few days!

‘What's more, this girl was poisoned.

‘For her to remain calm despite her circumstances, her prospects would be limitless!’

The two soon began discussing the formula of the poison.

Andrius would occasionally insert one or two of his own opinion.

Byron could only listen on the sidelines, annoyed that he never found time to understand this fieldearlier.
