Chapter 1680 Woman To Sign The Papers

Seven o'clock in the evening.

Byron's car arrived at Lawrence Mansion.

The mansion was brightly lit. Byron sat in the car alone for a few minutes before getting out. Hisfootsteps were heavy.

He walked from the gate to the main door of the mansion.

Along the way, he adjusted his expression.

"Young Master."

The butler greeted him respectfully. "The madam and the master are having dinner."

Byron nodded and followed behind.

He saw Melody and Benedict sitting at the dining table as soon as he entered.

It was uncertain what his parents were talking about. Melody's face was a little displeased, whileBenedict looked very helpless.

Benedict noticed his son coming in. He said in a deep voice, "Why are you here all of a sudden? Haveyou eaten yet? Come join us if you haven't."

Byron nodded and sat down opposite Melody.

Only then did Melody speak. "You’re just in time. Your dad and I are talking about Chloe! That girl fromthe Lincoln family, do you remember? You grew up together."

His mother jogged Byron’s memory of such a person.

The two grew up together since they were young, but the Lincoln family went abroad to develop a fewyears ago.

"Chloe returned to Somerland two days ago. She told us about wanting to see you and wondered whenyou would be free."

Melody kept going, "Let me tell you, Chloe is many times better than Rosalie Jacobs. Make her theyoung madam of the Lawrence family. The girl comes from a good background. She’s gentle and won’tcause trouble like Wendy Fuller!"

She told Benedict the same thing just now.

However, Benedict stood firm with his previous take and felt his wife was being unreasonable. Theatmosphere between the two reached a little stalemate.

When she continued to say this in front of Byron, Benedict felt it was inappropriate. "Don't meddle inByron's relationship. They both haven't seen each other for many years. Chloe may not feel the same!"

Melody was dissatisfied. "Our son is excellent. Even if Chloe doesn't feel anything now, she definitelywill after spending some time together! Besides, how do you know that Chloe has no feelings forByron?"

The two argued again, completely ignoring Byron’s existence.

"Then talk to her," Byron blurted out.

The dining table suddenly fell silent.

Both Melody and Benedict looked at him in disbelief.

"What did you say?" Benedict was the first to recover. He frowned and put down his cutlery.

Byron repeated indifferently, "Since you think Chloe is good, then talk to her. If she’s willing to be theyoung lady of the Lawrence family, I’ll have no objection."

The reason he came to look for his mother was simply that he had had no contact with other womenexcept Wendy for all these years.

Even though he had agreed to Xander's request to marry another woman, no candidate came to mind.

He could only come to his mother for advice.novelbin

She had always disliked Rosalie, so she must have been looking for other candidates in private.

It did not matter to him whether it was Chloe or another woman.

All he needed now was a woman who could sign the papers with him as soon as possible!

Melody and Benedict looked at each other and then back at him in suspicion.

No one would believe that their son would have a sudden change of heart.

"You want to marry Chloe? What about Rosalie? Didn't you insist on her before? What about Estie?"Benedict sternly looked at his son.
