Chapter 1651 When Will Mommy Come Back

It was already nine o'clock in the evening when he left the hotel.

Byron started the car subconsciously, wanting to return to the hospital.

He was still worried about that little woman, even though Mary was by her bedside.

Just as he drove the car, his cell phone rang.

He looked at the screen. It was Nox.

When Byron saw the little guy's name, he remembered what Yves said in the afternoon. He could nothelp but feel a little warmth in his heart.

"Daddy, aren't you coming back tonight?" When the call connected, the little boy hurriedly spoke. Hisvoice was full of grievances yet filled with expectations.

Byron could almost picture how aggrieved and desperate the three little ones looked at home.

‘If Rosalie was awake, she would definitely go home to comfort them first.’

Thinking of this, Byron slowed down the car, turned around, and drove towards home. His deep voicewas comforting the boy. "Already on my way back. Have you had dinner yet?"

Nox's voice became noticeably happier. "Not yet, we want to eat together when Daddy comes back!"

Byron was moved again. "Alright, Daddy will be home soon."

The little boy’s sweet, naive voice agreed.

After hanging up the phone, Byron raised his eyes and glanced at himself in the rearview mirror.

The man in the mirror had a solemn expression, his eyebrows tightly knit.

At a glance, one could tell that he was in a bad mood.

‘If I go back like this, I'm afraid it will only frighten the three little ones.’

On the way back, Byron glanced at the rearview mirror from time to time to adjust his expression.

When the car stopped at the gate of Lawrence Manor, he had already concealed all the anger on hisface and within his heart.

"Daddy!"

The little ones heard rustling outside the door and rushed out to greet him excitedly.

Uneasy, Mrs. Zora followed behind the kids.

She verified that it was really the Young Master who had returned, and she went back to the living roomwith peace of mind.

The three little ones circled around Byron enthusiastically.

Byron's heavy heart seemed to ease at the sight of them.

"Daddy, are you busy? Have you had dinner yet?"novelbin

"Daddy, I'm so hungry. Let's go in and eat!"

Estie and Nox held Byron's hand with affection and led him inside.

Lucian also had a smile on his face, but it was tinged with worry.

The little boy's mood seemed off. Byron frowned slightly and asked with concern. "Lucian, what'swrong? What's on your mind?"

Lucian frowned and asked him with a puzzled look. "Daddy, where is Mommy? She would tell us inadvance whenever she was on a business trip, and she would call us when she got there."

However, there was no news at all this time.

Moreover, they called yet Mommy did not answer.

Byron’s eyes dimmed for a moment at the mention of Rosalie. He quickly adjusted himself and leanedover, gently stroking their little heads to comfort them.

"Mommy left in a hurry this time. She only had time to tell me that she went to the free clinic in themountains, where the signal reception is not good. She will call us when there's a signal."

This was the excuse he came up with on the way home. This should not be suspicious to the littleones.

Sure enough, the little ones were not suspicious.

The only questions that came after they heard Rosalie had gone to the mountains were about safetyissues in the mountains.

"Daddy, will there be wild beasts in the mountains? Will Mommy get hurt?"

"Is the mountain very remote? Did Mommy go there alone?"

"When is Mommy coming back?"

“......”
