Chapter 120

Chapter 120 Must Protect Little Sister

Seeing them leave, Byron followed along immediately. The exit was not difficult to find, but Rosaliewas frightened out of her mind earlier so she got lost while running around.

As she had calmed down now, they eventually found their way out of the haunted house.

Rosalie felt disoriented from the dazzling sunlight hitting her face. Byron followed closely behind her,his eyes locked tightly on her. The two had different thoughts.

Sensing the strange atmosphere between the two, Mary took Rosalie aside and whispered in her ear,“What‘s the matter? What is he asking you to do?”

Rosalie came back to her senses and subconsciously glanced at the man inches away, only to see thatthe man‘s eyebrows were tightly furrowed with anxiety and worry

She thought of what Byron had said in the haunted house just now.

He did not seem like he was lying.

Thinking of this, Rosalie could not help but worry about Little Estie.

Even before when she thought that Estie was Byron and Wendy‘s child, she could not help but adorethat little girl. Now that she knew that Estie had nothing to do with Wendy Fuller, she found the feelingseven more unbearable.

“It‘s nothing, just some personal matters,” Rosalie muttered to her best friend. Mary was stillsuspicious.

‘Are there any more personal matters between the two of them? Byron could even find this place.

Just as she was about to ask, she saw that Rosalie had left her and walked toward the man over there.

Mary was even more confused at this point. Seeing the woman walking toward him, he frowned slightlyand decided to continue asking her for help. Rosalie interjected, “I‘ll go with you.”

Byron breathed a sigh of relief and nodded.

“Thanks for the trouble.”

Rosalie had decided to go check on Estie’s situation, so she took the two little boys from Mary and saidto her best friend, “Why don‘t you head back? I‘ll take the boys to Byron‘s.”

She knew that Little Estie was also very dependent on her two little boys, so taking them there might bea good idea.

Mary did not want to ask any further and just watched as the four of them left like a family.

They only came in one car, which Mary drove home after they parted ways. After coming out of MovieWorld City, Rosalie and the little boys got into Byron‘s car. Luther was already waiting in the car. Oncethey entered the car, he ignited the engine and headed toward Lawrence Manor. On the way, Byronbriefly told Rosalie about Estie‘s condition and the course of treatment over the years.

When Rosalie knew that the little one had suffered from mental breakdowns at such a young age alongwith the many ups and downs she had experienced over the years, it broke her heart. Moreover, according to Byron, Estie‘s meltdown this time was more severe than before

Thinking of this, Rosalie blamed herself. If she had known that the little girl‘s condition was so serious, she would never have said this in front of her.

The two boys sat quietly beside Mommy. As they listened to Byron, their dissatisfaction with him wasslowly replaced by their deep concern for their little sister.

Their little sister was the same age as them, but she had gone through so much and was still beingostracized in the kindergarten. They must protect their little sister! Luther drove so quickly that theyarrived at the manor in no time. After getting out of the car, Byron took Rosalie and the two boysstraight to the second floor. Lucas was still waiting upstairs. Due to Estie‘s resistance, he just left thedoor open to keep an eye on her in case she partook in any dangerous behaviors. Seeing the four ofthem, Lucas raised his brows slightly and nodded to Rosalie.

“Hello, Miss Jacobs.” She nodded in response. Thinking about Little Estie, she asked, “Where‘s Estie?I‘ll go check on her,” Lucas raised his finger and pointed to the corner of the room.
