Chapter 665 Dispatches

Chapter 665 Dispatches

Ayan refused. He said, "No, Preston will not arrange Eileen to do anything so fast. You really think

Austin is an idiot and will sleep with anyone? It's only because Cora disgranced him. He felt that Eileen

is someone related to me because of our history. He accepted Eileen so quickly because he wanted to

use Eileen to discredit me."

But the fact was that he had nothing to do with Eileen, and Austin's plans were probably wrong.

Now he thought that Eileen was of some use to him, but when Preston arranged for Eileen to make a

move, it would be hard for him to get out of it.

Ayan slightly narrowed his eyes, the bottom of which was overflowed with deep coldness. What would

happen in the future was still unknown, but now he was very satisfied to see these people bundled

together. The more chaos the better, so that it would be good for him at any time.

After reporting the work, Kian handed the documents he brought to Ayan for his signature, and then

used the computer to take notes on some important work while Ayan was having breakfast. It took

more than an hour, during which the whole ward was in silence.

The only sounds were the tapping of the keyboard and the pen sliding across the paper.

After finishing his work, Kian had no intention to leave, but just sat there quietly and waited for his

orders.

At this moment, the ward door was pushed open from the outside. Ayan instantly looked over, with a

trace of gentleness in his eyes, but when he saw that the person who came in was not the one he had

in mind, the expression on his face immediately went cold.

He didn't even mean to pay any attention. His eyes dropped to stare at the papers in front of him again,

and Kian on the sofa immediately got up and bowed his head slightly to the person who entered: "Mr.

Ward."

Rex also nodded, then walked to the chair by the bed and sat down. He looked at Ayan with a smile on

his face: "What's going on? You didn't even say hello when you saw me?"

Ayan said without much emotion, "Something wrong?"

Rex: "Why can't I come and see you if there's nothing wrong? My best friend is injured and in the

hospital, so shouldn't I come and take care of him more?"

"And you can go after you've seen it."

"Ayan, what's wrong with you today? Are you on fire? I didn't provoke you, did I?" Rex tilted his head

and stared at Ayan with a gossipy face.

Ayan just slightly narrowed his eyes, which were cold as ice. "Then I still have to smile at you?"

"There is no need to be so polite. After all, we do not need this nonsense."

"You really dare to answer." Ayan gave him a look with little patience and asked, "Something to say?"

Rex: "Nothing. I came to visit a friend with my mom, so I stopped by to see you."

Ayan didn't say anything, just stared at him with indifferent eyes. Such a look of him made Rex frown

slightly, and with a soft voice, he asked, "Why are you looking at me like this?"

Ayan said unhurriedly, "You have nothing to do these days?"

Last time when they enjoyed the spa, Ayan talked to him too, but Rex's reaction wasn't too obvious, so

he wasn't sure if Rex picked up on his hints or not.

Rex met his gaze and said, "Luckily, Sienna is busy these days, so I have nothing to do but work."

"What is she busy with?"

Ayan asked naturally.

Rex narrowed his eyes and snorted lightly, "Ayan, Sienna is my woman, and your wife's best friend. It's

not good for you to pay too much attention to her."

Ayan looked at him like a fool and said with little emotion in his voice: "You have to know yourself, and

don't make a fool of yourself."

Rex hooked his lips and smiled as he said, "Fine, fine, I am a fool."

Ayan looked at him deeply. It became more meaningful in his eyes, and his voice was low: "You don't

understand what I mean, do you?"

The smile on Rex's handsome face disappeared instantly, leaving only indifference, and he no longer

looked at Ayan, but shifted to look out through the window. The blue sky had nothing like his mood at

the moment, total emptiness and loneliness.

His voice was nonchalant: "How can I not understand?"

"Now that you can understand it, you're not going to do anything about it?"

"Do what?"

"Just let her go?"

Rex smiled coldly, and his indifferent gaze turned to Ayan as he said, "Then we'll have to see if he has

the ability to take her from under my nose."

"Whether he has the ability or not, he has pulled her from under your nose to his side, so you want to

continue to put up with this?" Ayan did not have any euphemism. All his words were blunt and struck

him into silence for a long time.

It was a few minutes before he spoke again, and Rex said in a low voice, "The process doesn't matter, I

want a result."

"Oh, yes, but if the result is not what you want, then do not complain to me, and do not let me do justice

for you, but I won't interfere in your affairs. It's better not to drink to kill the sorrow. We do not want to

comfort you, and do not want to appear. the next day on the trending with you. If the whole Hance City

knows, you will really be a laughing stick. I hope that by then you will automatically withdraw from my

team. I do not want to be friends with the kind of people who disgrace me."

Ayan's bitter tongue wouldn't stop.

The reason he said so, naturally, was also that he hoped Rex wouldn't be shilly-shally but make a good

decision to act quickly. His words about process and result were just excuses.

Since the enemy's purpose had been revealed, then there was no need to continue wasting time. It

should be quick and accurate for him to show their purpose directly, and keep the woman he was in

love with by his side.

On hearing Ayan's words, Rex did not say anything more, but only sighed helplessly, and only then did

he rise and say, "Well, since you have finishedyour lecturing, I should go now."

Ayan didn't respond to him, just gave him a nonchalant look. Rex turned around and walked to the

door.

As Rex was about to leave, Ayan frowned and said in a low voice, "If you need anything, just ask me."

Hearing this, Rex stopped in his tracks and looked back at Ayan to reveal a smile: "Look, you still can't

bear to be cruel to me. Don't worry. I should ask you for help if I really need it. You can't escape fromnovelbin

me."

"Heh." Ayan just hummed lightly and didn't say anything.

Rex smiled, "I really have to go now."

Rex went out from the ward, and the ward fell into silence.

Kian, who had been quiet since Rex's arrival, sat on the sofa to minimize his presence, but even

though he said nothing, Ayan's eyes were still on him.

Ayan stared at him with a cold face, "You stand up."

Kian immediately stiffened his back and stood up from the sofa. He faced Ayan like a child who had

made a mistake facing his parents. He looked a little confused. "Mr. Simpson."

Ayan wrinkled his brow, seeming not that happy. And he spoke indifferently, "She sleeps on the sofa at

night, so how can she sleep again if you sit there?"
