Chapter 391 Best

Ayan didn't answer her words, just stared at her eyes and asked, "This person's style of doing things

carries some purpose, so do you know her well?"

Although Ayan is suspicious by nature and will not trust a person easily, but he reads people very

accurately.

In his mind, this auditor did not ask for his permission to publish the results after the audit, nor did he

ask Aria if it was okay to do so.

Is it really just about getting the Simpson Group trusted by the public?

His heart gave birth to the question, this doubt will be constantly in his mind around.

He narrowed his eyes slightly, and the intensity under his eyes grew deeper and deeper, turning into

indifferent coldness at the end.

This second round of the Simpson Group audit lasted two days, and Camille stayed in the room for

both days without leaving.

Sienna knew she was working, but not to the Simpson Group.

Sienna didn't ask too many questions, just took good care of her and, naturally, didn't allow anyone to

take half a step in.

Two afternoons later, Camille finished her work. She shut down her computer, stretched, and then got

up and walked to stand in front of the window.

Her eyes were fixed on the window, and she was in an unconcealed good mood: "Sienna, go out with

me tomorrow."

Sienna hmmed and walked over to stand beside her, asking in a shallow voice, "Where do you want to

go?"

"Tell you in the morning, huh?"

"All right."

Sienna did not press the issue, but just stared at Camille carefully, she had a feeling that the person in

front of her seemed to become not quite the same.

Can't say where it's different, but it's always different.

She pursed her lips slightly, wanting to ask, "Cami, what's wrong with you?"

"What's wrong with me? I'm not doing anything wrong, why do you ask that?" Camille just smiled, her

eyes flooded with uncomprehending questions.

Sienna stared at her for a long moment before saying, "No, just a casual question."

She still felt that something was wrong with Camille, as if she was about to have an attack with a

vengeance.

But Camille didn't show any difference from the beginning to the end. After a while, she even argued

that she was hungry and wanted to eat mushroom soup, asking Sienna to order a takeaway for her.

But Sienna was not at ease, she said, "I'll go pack, you eat some fruit first to pad your stomach, I'll be

back soon."

"Good." Camille didn't refuse or stop, but smiled, "You're still the best to me."

"Don't sugarcoat it, you're better off getting out of the hospital quickly than anything else."

Camille just smiled and didn't say anything. After Sienna left the room, she reopened her computer and

clicked on the auditor's webpage.

Sure enough, Aria's message came through.

She said, "How come you haven't even moved since the results came out? "

"I don't want to make it public, so you can let the review team announce it over there."

Camille declined to publish the results and all of the audit process on the auditor's personal account.

Aria asked, "Why? You've already published your preliminary review, and now it would be a bit of a

disservice to the Simpson Group if it wasn't made available to the public."

"Tell your brother for me that if you want me to disclose the results of the second round of audits on my

personal account mountain then let's talk about it in person tomorrow morning, is that okay?"

Aria didn't respond after Camille tapped this out.

Aria stared at the message several times, and she didn't quite understand what Camille was trying to

do anymore.

She didn't move much, just subconsciously looked at Ayan who was standing in front of the floor-to-

ceiling window smoking, until Ayan turned back to meet her gaze and he asked, "What about it?"

"Brother, she said she wanted to talk to you in person."

Aria whispered in response.

She pursed her lips, debating whether to say that the auditor was actually Camille?

But now she can't figure out what Camille wants to talk to Ayan about, so she's worried.

Ayan frowned slightly, his voice inaudible emotion and ripple said, "What did she want to talk to me

about?"

"I'm not sure, so I don't know if there's some kind of problem on the tax side?"

"Are you now questioning the results of your own audit and the Simpson Group?"

Ayan gave her an expressionless look, with a distinctly questioning tone.

Aria shook her head, "I trust the Simpson Group, but in her presence I somewhat questioned whether

my audit process had been flawed in any way."

The more Aria thought about it, the more uneasy she felt, so she immediately picked up her phone and

sent a message asking Camille: "Sister-in-law, what do you want to talk to your brother about? Can you

reveal a little bit to me? Otherwise I'm a little worried!"

Camille: "Some things between me and him, don't worry, it's not your problem, as for Simpson Group,

everything is up to him, you don't need to worry about it."

After Camille finished her words, not waiting for Aria to reply, she added, "We should not contact for the

time being, you'd better pretend you don't know my identity, or I'm afraid he'll take it out on you."

Of course she knew that Ayan wouldn't do anything to Aria, but after all, she was the one who asked

Aria not to say who she really was, so she didn't want any misunderstandings between them as

siblings.

Perhaps in this case she was selfish, but at the beginning did not intend to do so, it was Ayan forced

her.

It was all she could do.

Ayan also fell into deep speculation about the matter of the auditor not disclosing the audit results.

Kian said, "Mr. Simpson, does she want money?"

"If you simply want money, you can just do some random tinkering, you don't need to go around in such

a big circle."

Ayan guessed that this auditor had planned what she was going to do from the very beginning,

because from the very beginning she wanted to publish the first round of audit results to get everyone's

conviction and support.

So this has led to some passivity for him today.

Ayan fell into a short silence, then said lightly, "Do the worst, if she really wants to threaten the

Simpson Group for money, collect evidence to dissuade her from this idea."

"Good." Kian nodded.

Aria, however, remained silent, with some inexplicable panic in her heart.

Because Camille offered to chat in person, naturally the results of the audit could not be announced

that day.

The normal time for the audit is about three days, and although it is not yet time, many people are still

running to the official number of Simpson Group to ask if there are any results yet.

Because the matter has been announced, everyone wants to see the results and is very curious.

Naturally, the Simpson Group would not answer, but would simply remain silent and act as if they hadnovelbin

not seen anything.

Ayan's office fell silent as his phone rang the next second.

It was the Simpson's manson that called.

the old Simpson said, "Come back for dinner with Aria tonight."

Compared to what is also for this audit.

Ayan looked at the time, then agreed, "Okay."

He finished work early and took a car with Aria back to the Simpson's manson.

On the way, Aria couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you going to call your sister-in-law to go back with you?"

"No."

She didn't want to see him after a few days of no contact, and having her go back in one piece

probably tormented and annoyed her.

Back at the Simpson family the Simpson's manson, the two entered the hall and saw the old Simpson

playing chess with Fletcher.

the old Simpson swept him a faint glance and followed, "No more."

With a serious face, he asked, "When will the results of the audit come out?"

"Soon, tomorrow at the latest."

"There won't be any more mistakes this time, will there?"

"Of course, you just don't worry about it." Ayan responded without changing his face.

Even if the old Simpson is not very reassured to stare at him, he did not show the slightest difference.

Aria was watching from the sidelines and couldn't help but sigh, Ayan is too good, right?

Because nothing was asked, the old Simpson didn't think much of it.

Over dinner, the old Simpson mentioned Camille again: "What's going on with you and Cami? Did you

bail out that Eileen?"

the old Simpson's muffled voice questioned, and his eyes were blazingly fixed on him.

Ayan said, "Grandpa, don't worry about me and Camille, I'll take care of it, and as for Eileen, there's a

reason to bail her out, you trust me, huh?"

"Don't worry? You really think Cami is stuck with you just because she's pregnant with your baby?"

the old Simpson grunted coldly.
