Chapter 1481 Treatment

Chapter 1481 Treatment

Ayan picked up his chopsticks and tasted the food, savoring the flavors with a serious expression. Then, he looked up at her and asked, "In what capacity do you want me to answer?"

"What capacity do you want?" Camille threw the question right back at him.

Ayan replied, "Don't you already know what capacity I want?"

"I don't know," she said.

"Then why don't you guess?" Ayan challenged.

"I don't want to guess, I want you to tell me," Camille insisted.

She knew exactly what capacity Ayan wanted her to say, but she was reluctant to say it.

Looking at Ayan with a faint smile in her eyes, she said, "If I answered as the President of theSimpson Group?"

"Do you really want me to answer in that capacity?" he asked in a low voice.

Camille replied, "Isn't that what you asked me? If it's as the President of the Simpson Group, then Iprobably wouldn't be sitting across from you right now. I wouldn't cook for the President of theSimpson Group, as it's only a business relationship and not at the level where I'd cook for you athome. But if it's as my husband, then this meal can continue. So, in what capacity do you want toanswer?"

Camille's lips curled into a light smile as she gazed at Ayan without blinking, as if implying, "Now it'syour turn to choose."novelbin

The two exchanged glances for a long time, until Ayan took the initiative to pick up his chopsticks tocontinue eating. However, just as he was about to start, a pair of fair and smooth hands directlyblocked his chopsticks, and she said, "You haven't answered my question yet!"

Camille's persistence made Ayan feel very passive. He had wanted to tease her, but it turned outthat he was the one being teased.

The dignified President of the Simpson Group was momentarily stunned, but only briefly. He didn'tshow any excessive bewilderment, just calmly set down his chopsticks and looked at Camille, hisvoice magnetic as he said, "Don't you know what capacity I want to eat this meal in?"

He had just asked a similar question earlier. This man is as cunning as a fox.

Camille bit her lip softly and said, "I don't know, just tell me directly, or else the food will get cold. Iworked hard to cook today, see, I even cut my hand."

She raised her hand directly to him, waving the injured hand with a very visible red mark on her ringfinger. It wasn't serious, but Camille's fair skin made it look very red.

Ayan gently held her hand, his eyes filled with tenderness as he looked at her, his voice becomingunusually gentle. "What do you want to hear?"

He continued to hold her hand, his deep gaze fixed on her.

Camille bluntly said, "In what capacity do you want to eat this meal?"

"Are you only happy when my secrets are revealed?"

"Oh, I just want to hear it," Camille teased.

Only now did Ayan slowly speak, "I want to eat this meal as your husband. Are you satisfied withthat answer?"

He didn't appear embarrassed at all, instead, he looked at her steadily, making her feel a littleawkward.

Because his gaze was too direct, to the point of being very disconcerting.

Camille, with a soft voice and a slight smile, replied, "It's somewhat satisfactory. Let's eat!"

Camille's response: "I don't want to. I'm fine now. It has healed already. You noticed too late."

The food was getting cold, and the cut was minor, just for the sake of the situation, acting a littlepitiful. She had succeeded, so there was nothing wrong anymore.

Ayan looked at her bright eyes, her long, curly eyelashes fluttering, and with a faint smile, he said,"Let's eat!"

Ayan ate a lot of the dinner Camille made that night, something he rarely did. But tonight, sinceCamille cooked, he wanted to give her a lot of face.

The two spent a long time having dinner, eating, drinking, and chatting, very content and relaxed.

After the meal, it was already around ten o'clock. At that time, they couldn't go out for a walk, butthey found a way to digest their food by playing badminton with Sienna and Rex.

There was enough space at home to play and enough bright lights.

Sienna complained to Camille in a low voice, "Is Mr. Simpson full of energy? Why is he playingbadminton in the middle of the night?"

"He's probably stuffed from eating."

"Why would he be stuffed from eating?"

"I personally cooked the meal." Camille looked at Ayan and Rex playing badminton, her face filledwith affection and a sweet smile.

Sienna scoffed and asked, "Camille, are you planning to change careers?"

"Hmm?"

"Becoming a devoted wife and mother?"

"I always have been."

"Oh, stop it." Sienna said mockingly, "I've never enjoyed that kind of treatment. Frankly, I'm quiteannoyed."

Camille quickly took hold of her hand and said, "Oh, don't be upset. If you want anything, just tellme. I'll learn to cook and make it for you next time."

"Hmph, I don't believe in women's words. I wonder if you've told Mr. Simpson that you've liked himfor many years now?"

This was an open secret between them, known only to the two of them. But the fact remained asecret, as Ayan had yet to notice.

Ayan may have had thoughts and suspicions, but Camille never gave him the chance from thebeginning, because she had initially told him she had an ex-boyfriend and got married to forgetabout him.

At Sienna's question, Camille was momentarily taken aback. Her expression became dim and hervoice lowered as she said, "Of course, he doesn't know. Sometimes, even I forget. I always try not

to remember the past. I only want to cherish the beautiful memories now. That's how people are, wanting to forget the bad and keep the good forever in the present."

Sienna lightly patted Camille's shoulder and said, "Alright, I shouldn't have brought it up."

"It's okay; it's not something to hide. I just don't know whether I should tell him now or not." Itseemed that this question was no longer a question, but rather a matter that made it difficult tomake a decision.

It's very conflicting and hesitant.

Moreover, she wasn't sure if telling him would make him feel pressured.
