Chapter 1479 The Final Decision

Chapter 1479 The Final Decision

Her eyes gleamed with a mischievous smile as she gazed at him.

Their eyes met for a long while before Ayan stood up, took the project proposal, and sat down nextto Camille.

He held Camille by her waist and the project proposal in his hand. Quietly, he flipped through it, theprocess lasting for half an hour without any interaction between them.

After he finished reading, he put the project proposal down.

Camille finally asked, "Mr. Simpson, would you like to give me some advice?"

Ayan said, "I'll give it to you after I've made the modifications and personally deliver it to yourcompany."

"Isn't that too much trouble, Mr. Simpson?" Camille smiled.

Ayan lightly pinched her cheek with a gentle expression. "You're already starting to discusscollaboration with me. Will you be competing with me in the near future?"

Camille laughed, finding his words amusing.novelbin

She said, "I haven't thought about that, but if I were to have the honor of competing with Mr.Simpson for a project, I hope you would give me a chance, considering my small company. Don'tcompete with me, alright?"

"Are you trying to persuade me?" Ayan stared at her with a cold attitude. The implication was clearin his deep eyes.

Camille understood but didn't seem to agree with him. She said, "Mr. Simpson, I don't understandwhat you mean."

"You don't understand?" Ayan squinted his eyes with a hint of coldness. "Then try to understandbefore you speak!"

Looking at his slightly angry appearance, Camille wanted to laugh but held it in. After his expressionturned almost emotionless, she slowly approached him, saying softly, "Husband, is it okay?"

Her soft voice echoed in his ears, deepening his gaze.

He tightened his grip on her waist instinctively, his handsome face showing obvious tenderness ashe replied in a low voice, "Yes."

This was Camille's first time calling him these two words, and it seemed like a spell disrupting hisheartstrings.

Camille pretended not to understand, but she couldn't help but think, was such a big reactionnecessary?

Are all men like this?

After a brief silence, she said in a low voice, "Mr. Simpson, is such a big reaction necessary?"

Feeling numb and emotionless, she was surprised by his reaction.

After she finished speaking, a faint smile appeared on her lips, as if mocking him, Mr. Simpson, doyou have to be like this?

Without any hesitation, she willingly called out, "Husband."

Ayan was satisfied, a smile finally appearing on his lips.

As for the collaboration, it was a success.

Not just with one architectural design company, but at least two. This was the initial plan, and if thedemand was substantial, more companies might be involved.

Ayan had an important meeting coming up, so he didn't keep Camille around. He left the projectproposal for Camille to review later. Then, he personally escorted Camille out of the company, kissing her forehead and watching her leave in the elevator.

After seeing Camille off, Ayan returned to his office.

He handed the project proposal to Kian and said, "Take this to the project department of NoresGroup. Have them review it and give me an answer."

"Is it for the project department to evaluate its suitability?" Kian inquired.

"Yes," Ayan replied in a low voice.

Kian asked, "Mr. Simpson, isn't this a bit too rigorous?"

"This is standard procedure." He had promised Camille to follow the normal procedures of theSimpson Group's projects. Having reviewed the proposal, Ayan found the ideas very mature and inline with their projects. He didn't foresee any problems, and even if there were any, they would onlybe minor issues.

Understanding Ayan's intentions, Kian nodded and was ready to proceed as directed.

As Kian was about to take the project proposal to the project department, Ayan suddenly told him,"Don't reveal that this proposal is from her to the project department."

He didn't want it to be decided immediately.

Understanding his meaning, Kian nodded and left.

Although the project proposal was still preliminary, the project department gave it a high rating afterreviewing it.

Ayan had great confidence in Camille. He knew her abilities and how demanding she was in herwork.

Consequently, the head of the project department immediately gave Ayan a very affirmativeresponse and requested, "Mr. Simpson, may I meet this architect?"

Ayan looked indifferent and replied, "She doesn't want to see you yet, and the collaboration isn'tconfirmed."

The head of the project department quickly said, "The architect's style is very good, and we need itfor our project."

"This project involves not just our company but three others as well," Ayan reminded the head of theproject department.

"Let me show it to the other project participants. I believe they will also approve," the head of theproject department suggested.

"Go ahead. Let me know once it's done," Ayan instructed, and the head of the project department, clearly flattered, nodded and immediately went to handle the matter.

After the head of the project department left, Ayan also got up from his desk.

He put on his suit jacket and headed out of the office. Kian, noticing the movement, stood up togreet him and asked, "Mr. Simpson, are you going out?"
