Chapter 462

“You saved the two girls. Do you remember what they looked Like?”

Rosalynn tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

“I’m sorry, I don’t remember,” Brian replied. “I only recall that one of the girls was in a terrible state. Shehad been raped. The other girl’s face and body were covered in blood, and she was in a daze, but stillfighting. Luckily, most of the blood wasn‘t hers. She was holding a piece of glass and almost killed theman who tried to assault her.”

Rosalynn swallowed hard, attempting to steady her racing thoughts.

After all, she had also mistaken the wrong person as her savior.

“No, but I can cook the last dinner for yo hastening toward the door.

Rosalynn answered,

Brian arched an eyebrow, unable to suppress a smile.

If he had known that his gallant actions could elicit such kindness from her, he would have mentioned itearlier.

Brian and Rosalynn returned home, yet he continued to gaze at her intently. She was left speechless.

“Why do you keep staring at me? Are you afraid I‘11l poison you?” she quipped.

“No, but I’m curious if you’ve become infatuated with me,” Brian teased, deliberately provoking her.

Rosalynn rolled her eyes and made her way to the kitchen.novelbin

“Yes. Are you pleased?”

Brian raised an eyebrow, his expression filled with surprise. “Are you being serious?”
