Brian stayed in bed with Eris.Once it became dark, he began to put on his clothes.When he was aboutto leave, she stopped him.

"Brian, let's have dinner together before you leave."

"Actually, I have to sort something at the office." Eris clenched her fists.

'Does that mean he left in the middle of work? Only to ask about Wendy's scandals?' Eris gritted herteeth in anger.

She lifted the quilt and got out of the bed.She picked up a coat and draped it over her shoulders.

He frowned and marched out of the ward.He didn't want to wake her.

"Wendy is continuously getting calls from this number."

Wendy's old phone was soaked in water and was smashed into pieces.

It couldn't be used anymore.

Worried that it would be inconvenient for Wendy if she didn't have a phone, Ryan asked Luke to buyher a new one.

Luke had just installed the SIM card.But before he could hand over the new phone to Wendy, thephone started to ring.

Ryan casually glanced at the unknown number.

"Ryan, who is it?" Luke asked curiously.
