“Yes, Sanford wants her to stay in the hospital and meet with his mother.”
Rosalynn took a brief pause before adding, “Honey, do you think his mother will relent?”
Brian arched an eyebrow in thought and responded, “She has placed all her hopes on her only son. She’s not one to give inwithout a fight.
Maggie might have to withstand a lot of stress if she wants to be with Sanford. But it’s all about resilience. If they both endure,I'm confident that Mrs. Robles will eventually soften.”
Taking in his words, Rosalynn voiced a concern. “I just wish Maggie doesn’t have to give up too much for a fairytale ending.”Maggie was frail, and the thought of her being mistreated by the Robles family troubled Rosalynn.
