Soon, the receptionist said with a smile, “Miss Pond, your room is booked under Mr. Remus’s name.”
Ada lowered her gaze and smiled meaningfully.
She knew that Neil would not ignore her completely.
However, she frowned when she recalled how Curtis lied to her on the phone.
It looked like she had to find a chance to ask Neil to fire him. He should not be keeping a dishonestsecretary!
Ada returned home in a good mood. Just as she stepped into the mansion, she saw Idris sitting in theliving room with a dark expression.
She was somewhat surprised. Idris was usually not at home at this hour.
“Dad, why aren’t you at work?”
