Chapter 986Keegan gradually fell asleep after some coaxing. Stella could not help but drift off to Keegan's steady breathing.
When the doctor came to make rounds the next morning, Keegan woke up to see Stella sleeping soundly. He pulled the blanketover her and made shush gesture to the doctor.
The doctor quietly finished the check-up and left.
Stella did not wake up until it was almost 9:00 a.m. She opened her eyes and saw Keegan's handsome face close to hers. Stellapinched his cheeks as she said hoarsely, "Why were you so fussy last night?"
Keegan found her words ambiguous, hearing them early in the morning. He could not help but think about how she had askedhim to follow the doctor's orders and feel distracted.
"When are you going to give me my reward you talked about yesterday?" asked Keegan.Stella was still a little confused by his question. "What reward?"
Keegan's eyelids twitched at the sound of that. ‘Do you only know how to start fires and not put them out?’ he thought. He tookher hand, put it on his chest, and moved it down slightly.

Keegan laughed and stopped teasing her. He then kissed her head and said in a low voice, "Let's pack up and get you home.""Mhm," Stella replied, pulling Keegan's clothes up to check his rashes. She was relieved that the red spots had faded quite a lot.
The two packed up and proceeded with the discharge procedure. Keegan was queuing up at the front desk while Stella waited atthe corner of the lobby. Her hair hung loosely on her shoulders as she did not tie her hair up, and her mask covered most of herface. Those who did not personally know her would have a hard time recognizing her.
Stella was staring at Keegan. Among the people in the long queue, she could see Keegan's head floating above the crowd. 'Howcan he be so tall and handsome? | can't stand how he lay in my arms last night, acting like a needy puppy. He's so cute! Ah!"Stella's heart was full just thinking about how that man was hers.
Suddenly, Stella heard a familiar voice saying, "| can't put it off any longer. Seeing as the month is going to be big, things aregoing to be harder if | don't do it now."
Stella paused and glanced aside indistinctly. Hylda was dressed in low-key clothing, and a handsome young man followedbehind her as they walked past Stella. The two were busy talking and did not notice her.

Stella pulled him aside and said, "| saw Hylda and her fake brother, lan, here. They just got on the elevator." After saying that,she continued in frustration, "| was afraid she would recognize me, so | didn't follow them too closely, which meant | couldn'tclearly hear what they were saying."
Keegan glanced at the elevator at said, "This elevator is used for even-numbered floors. The wards are on the twelfth floor andabove, the operating room is on the fourth floor, the men's health and urology department is on the eighth floor, the orthopedicsdepartment is on the tenth floor, and the obstetrics and gynecology department is on the sixth floor."
Stella was taken aback for a moment and made a guess based on what she had just heard, "She's here for an abortion?!"
