"It has always been!" Felicity wanted to say that he deserved to be slapped for kissing her without even saying hi to her.However, she hesitated and gave up the idea.
It was because he was not supposed to kiss her even if he did greet her earlier.
She felt weird as if she was getting mad over the wrong thing. ‘Why am | angry at what he said more than the fact that heactually kissed me?

Felicity looked at his face again before she said softly, "| should probably put some ice on it. It looks so ugly."Vermont replied with a serious face. "It's okay. Didn't you say that | have thick skin?"

However, she could not hold it in and laughed out loud.
Vermont smiled. Then, he leaned forward and asked, "Miss Bandit, can we talk about something?"
Felicity looked at him. "What is it?"
"| feel like eating galantine this weekend."
Felicity's eyelid twitched. "Did you think that I'm a master chef who knows how to cook everything?"Vermont laughed and said, "To me, you're better than a master chef. You're literally the goddess of cooking.”
His words flattered Felicity very much, but she humbly said, "Galantine has too many steps to make and it takes a lot ofingredients. It's probably going to take me a few days to prepare it."
"That's why | said | want to eat it on the weekend. I'll take care of the ingredients and all you have to do is cook." He turned hisface to the side as he spoke. "Look at my face. All | want is to be your friend, yet | had to be thrown over your shoulder andslapped by you. You have to cook
something nice for me to heal me, or | won't be able to get up the next time you hurt me again."Felicity kept quiet.‘This guy would say just anything to get fed."
However, his words successfully made Felicity feel guilty. Even though galantine was very difficult to make, she agreed withouthesitating for too long. "I'll list out the ingredients for you to buy then."
Vermont smiled. "No problem."
"Did you meet Corbin on the way here?" Vermont pretended to ask unintentionally after talking about that.
Felicity answered honestly without thinking too much, "We met downstairs and came up together."
Vermont immediately felt relieved. ‘It turns out that she didn't purposely dress up for Corbin."
On the other side, Stella turned around and saw the dark expression on Keegan's face as soon as they left. "Pfft." She laughed.Keegan glanced at her angrily. "How could you laugh?"
Stella grabbed his arm and softly said, "I had to do that, so they would forget about us eavesdropping on their conversation."Then, she patted his chest. "I'm very sorry you had to go through that."
Keegan scoffed. "How are you going to make up to me?"Stella leaned in and whispered beside his ear, *1'11 do everything that the doctor said tonight. How about that?"
Keegan immediately felt like all that scolding was worth it, and he even wanted to instantly make her words come true. Then,let's leave now."
