Chapter 967

Chapter 967Felicity sniffed and glanced at him. Then, she said in a quavering voice," What thing?"

Vermont paused as if he had something difficult for him to talk about. Then, he said after some time, "I used to have a girlfriendwho was a model. She showed interest in me first, and she looked kind of pretty. So, | dated her fora while."

Felicity paused. "You mean you slept with her for a while, huh?"Vermont was speechless.

"| didn't!’ Vermont glared at her. "| only wanted to be in a relationship because | enjoyed the process of it, okay? Who told you Islept with every girlfriend | had? Besides, she was the one who chased after me. | only dated her because | thought she lookedkind of cute, and she was fun to hang around with. But-"

His tone changed as he gritted his teeth, ‘But, that model was Nicole's exgirlfriend! Nicole thought that | stole her girlfriend, andshe got so angry that she tried so hard to be with me just so | would break up with her exgirlfriend. Not only that she could takerevenge on her ex-girlfriend by doing that, but she could also hurt my feelings."novelbin

Felicity was confused.

She could not process what she had been told. "Nicole's ex-girlfriend? Isn't Nicole a girl? Her girlfriend... I-ls she..."Felicity widened her gaze.

Vermont put on a look on his face that said, "It's exactly what you're thinking.”

Felicity was speechless. 'What | wrote is already cliche enough. | can't believe the reality is even more cliche.1

Vermont said in a low voice, "Only a few people know about this. I'm only telling you this because | trust you. So, you better notspeak a word about it. The people in our country are not that open-minded yet."

"| know." Felicity's voice sounded a lot softer too. "I'm not stupid.’Then, she asked, "Why did you send her flowers and confess to her then?"

Vermont answered, "She wanted to be with me, but | already had a girlfriend back then. Besides, | didn't have any romanticfeelings for her, so | kept ignoring her. But, she'd come looking for me at the snooker club. She just wouldn't leave no matter howhard | tried to chase her away. She wanted to play a game with me. She said that she'd never appear in front of me again if |won, but I'd have to visit her at the set with flowers and tell everyone that we're dating for a day if | lost."

"So, you lost?"Felicity looked at him as if her eyes were saying, "How could you lose to a woman? You're so useless.”

Vermont gritted his teeth as he tried to defend himself. "Nicole is a bitch. She had been playing snooker since she was a kid. Sheeven won a few competitions. None of us in the snooker club could beat her at all! | wouldn't have agreed to that if | had knownabout it earlier."

"| see." Felicity said before she continued, "What happened after that? Did your ex-girlfriend break up with you after youconfessed to Nicole?"

"It got on the news, and of course, she saw it too. She thought that | had betrayed her and fallen in love with Nicole. Then, shetold me that Nicole didn't like men, and she only wanted to date me to take revenge on her."

Felicity kept quiet.

She bowed her head down as her shoulders shook.

Vermont then angrily said, ' Just go ahead and laugh if you want. There's no need for you to hide."

Felicity burst into laughter right after hearing that. Hahaha!" She laughed and mocked Vermont, "Even a playboy like you wasonce played by somebody else!”

Vermont was speechless.

"How am | a playboy? | treated each and every one of my relationships with all my heart. Would a playboy do that? You can't callme a playboy just because I'm inexperienced with love. A playboy is someone who thinks with his lower body. How can | findsomeone suitable for me without being in a few relationships?"

Felicity scoffed. "Then, would you mind if your future girlfriend had been in as many relationships as you did?"

Vermont said, "Of course. I'm not the kind of person who messes around with different women before marriage and would onlychoose to marry a young and innocent girl. Compatibility is what matters most in a

relationship. There's no use if a person as pretty as a fairy is placed before me, but we're not compatible.”Vermont looked at her. Then, he coughed and asked, "What about you?

Would you mind if your future boyfriend dated plenty of girls?’
