Stella took a deep breath and said, "I misunderstood." "He's the one making things up. It has nothing to do with you." Trevorpaused. "What about the contract? Are there any problems?"
"Yes, there are. First, I'm not going on reality shows. Second, | hired an assistant to help run errands on the set before. She'sfamiliar with the industry. So, if possible, | would like to hire her again."

"What do you have in mind?" Stella replied. His answer would determine whether she was available. "My father's back. He heardthat you saved Jaylene in the bathroom at the charity event. He insisted on inviting you over for a meal. So..."

Trevor sighed. He picked up his phone and said, "See, | already told you she wouldn't come. | told you people would beembarrassed to have a meal with you, old man. But you didn't listen. Are you happy now?"
