With a stern face, Stella glared at Keegan as she thought, 'l knew he'd never hire a good-looking man to be my assistant. Hewas just messing with me last night!"

The airport was crowded with people. Stella stood by the car and looked around with her eyes squinted. Soon, she sawWenham, wearing sunglasses, dragging two large suitcases out from the airport while Darcie followed behind him with a tinysuitcase and an expensive handbag.

Wenham patted her shoulder and said, "It was pretty fun. | went to almost every attraction there. | can be your tour guide thenext time we go together."
As Stella reached out to help with the suitcases, she smiled and said," That's great! | was worried that you and Darcie wouldwant to spend more time together, so | extended your stay for you."
Darcie's eyelid twitched abruptly.
In fact, Stella did not extend their stay at all. She booked a nine-day trip for them but told them it was only a six-day trip. It wasnot until they landed and checked in that Darcie found out about it.
Wenham then pushed the suitcases toward Trevor, glanced around, and asked, "Where's Jaylene?"
Darcie furrowed her brows. ‘I've specifically called her to remind her to come pick US up at the airport today. She agreed, butwhere is she now?"
Stella looked puzzled. "I don’t know. Trevor and | came together. Jaylene said she would drive herself here. She left the houseearlier than US, so | thought she would've arrived already."
Darcie remained silent and dialed Jaylene's number on her phone with a tense expression.However, there was no answer on the other end, even though the call went through. So, Darcie figured that either her phone wasnot with her or she was deliberately not picking up.
Stella hugged Wenham's arm, smiling brightly. "Dad, Darcie, Trevor made a reservation at Cotton Rose Restaurant. Sonia isgoing to be there too. She's starting work tomorrow, so | figured we should have a meal to celebrate her new job."
However, Darcie was going to apologize to Grace with Jaylene, so she politely declined Stella's invitation by saying that she wasfeeling unwell.
As they parted ways, Stella noticed that Darcie was still trying to call Jaylene.She smirked and thought to herself, 'There’s no way Jaylene would pick up."
Around six o'clock in the morning, Stella used Keegan's phone and posted a tweet on Twitter that was only visible to Jaylene,saying "Hangover, headache."novelbin
