Chapter 1935

Chapter 1935

But now, Stella was already a part of the Saun family and even carried Keegan's baby in her stomach. Yet, Dahlia still could notaccept her.

Suddenly, Aurora realized that it was not Stella that she could not accept, but anyone who threatened her from enjoying wealthand luxury.

She should have known this when Dahlia was so eager to obtain Keegan's wealth after he fell into the water.Blood and family ties apparently meant nothing to Dahlia compared to a luxurious life in the future.

Suddenly, she thought of when Dahlia insisted on raising her back then. Was that because she truly could not bear to part withher, or was it just a convenient way for her to extract money from the Kane family?

If Dahlia genuinely loved her, why would she do such a heartless thing and falsely accuse her?Aurora could not figure it out and felt her heart being torn apart.

Then, she said in a trembling voice, "Mom, we're family. Is it necessary for you to go this far? You know that Keegan is not asheartless as he seems. He won't abandon you—"novelbin

Dahlia cut her off harshly, "Keegan won't, but Stella will! I've been drugging her for so long. How could she ever forgiveme? My life will be over if she marries Keegan again!"

Aurora was taken aback, "Drug? Wasn't that prescribed to her by a medical practitioner to nourish—"

She widened her gaze as she spoke, "To nourish her health?"

Dahlia stared at her coldly.

Aurora finally understood why Keegan kicked Dahlia out of the Kane family without giving anyone an explanation. It was allbecause of this!

Upon realizing that, Aurora also knew why Dahlia was so determined to get rid of Stella's baby. How could Stella ever let her stayin the Kane family after what she had done to her? Now that Keegan had lost his memories and did not remember Stellaanymore, it served as a perfect opportunity for Dahlia to act against her.

If the baby were to die because of someone from the Kane family, Stella would never want to marry Keegan ever again.

That was why Dahlia framed Aurora. Firstly, it was to retaliate against her betrayal. Secondly, with Mrs. Chapman defending her,she would be able to completely keep herself out of it while continuing to enjoy the privileges as one of the Kanes.

Aurora felt chill all over.

She could not accept the fact that her mother was someone so selfish, ruthless, and despicable.

Dahlia spoke indifferently, "Don't blame me for what | did. I'm doing all this for our future. You don't know anything. If we don'tsecure as much wealth as we can, how will your husband and his family treat you with respect after you get married? Because ofmy weak family background, your grandmother had never truly accepted me.

“After all the bad things you did to Stella, do you think she'll ever forgive you? If Keegan married her, would he still care aboutyou after you married into your husband's family?"

Dahlia said those words as if she were right, but everything sounded absurd to Aurora.Especially the part where she said, "You don't know anything, n

It turned out that she was just someone who did not know anything. Dahlia completely ignored her progress at Vinci Rivera. Toher, a woman's value was defined by marrying a man with power and influence.

When Aldor asked her why she wanted to work in Vinci Rivera, she claimed it would make her look more presentable to herfuture husband. She finally understood why Aldor looked at her in disbelief and ridiculed her.
