The main living room was transformed into a memorial hall. Dahlia wore a black dress as she stood next to Aurora besideKeegan's photo. They were welcoming the guests who came to pay their respects to Keegan.
Cordelia sat in the wheelchair, and Baldwin stood behind her.
Her expression was solemn, and her hair seemed even whiter than before. Her once chubby face turned bony, making herwrinkles more obvious.
Keegan was the eldest grandson of the Kane family, and he died before he could have any child. Despite the grand setup of thememorial hall, there was an indescribable sense of sorrow.
As soon as Stella stepped inside, she saw Keegan's photo hanging on the wall. The image was cropped from their weddingphoto, but it was now in black and white.
Dahlia, initially welcoming the guests, burst into anger as soon as she saw Stella. She approached Stella with a cold face andscolded, "Get lost! Keegan doesn't want you here!"
Cordelia held her cold necklace in her hand as she watched everything with a cold and indifferent expression. When Stella mether eyes, Cordelia looked nonchalant. This caused Stella's heart to sink a little.
Wenham and Trevor came with Stella, and their expressionsimmediately turned ugly. Wenham said, "We're here to pay our respects to Keegan. Mind your words!"
Dahlia despised Stella. Upon hearing Wenham's words, she sneered, "Keegan hasn't been gone for a month, and she's alreadyfound a new lover! Dahlia laughed bitterly, "You shameless people can do anything. Why be afraid of what | say? I'm starting to think you twoconspired to harm Keegan just to inherit his wealth!"

Felicity listened to these baseless assumptions and was about to explode in anger. However, someone covered her mouth frombehind as she was about to speak.
She turned around and stomped on the person's foot.Vermont frowned in pain but did not let go. Instead, he whispered in her ear, "Don't get involved in this. It's not the time for you tostand up for your best friend. Both her father and brother are here, and no one can bully her."
Felicity widened her eyes and glared at him. After not seeing her for a few days, Vermont missed her like crazy. He wanted to lether go, but upon second thought, he knew he had lost credibility in her eyes after what happened. So, he chose to keep oncovering her mouth while wrapping his other hand around her waist.
Felicity would have given him a shoulder throw right there and then if they were somewhere else.
Trevor looked coldly at Dahlia, "Ms. Crosby, instead of fueling the fire and throwing all the blame onto my sister, you should thinkabout why Keegan named Stella the primary heir and not you. Do you think it's because he thinks an outsider actually deservesmore than his own mother?"
His words touched a sore spot in Dahlia, and her expression immediately turned unpleasant.
Chandler, who had been silent all this while, spoke at this moment, "Keegan is my family member. After the divorce, he hadalready given her what she deserved. As for this
