"It's not Mr. Kane, but someone he designated," Aldor explained.
The man chuckled lightly, "To my knowledge, Mr. Kane has never officially appointed someone to lead in his absence. It's oddthat this is only being brought up now, especially since he's been missing for quite a while. Are you sure he designated thisindividual, or was it your choice, Aldor?"
Aldor glanced at the man, his expression composed, "Mr. Kane is accustomed to being prepared for any situation. If he took thestep to create a will, it's reasonable to assume he would also consider appointing a representative. He chose the current actingrepresentative through a legally binding contract overseen by a trusted lawyer. In his absence, they are authorized to attendcrucial company meetings on his behalf. Aldor stood up and pulled out Keegan's seat at the table. ’ Please have a seat, Mrs. Kane," he warmly said.
Just as Stella was about to take her seat, Chandler suddenly spoke up, "Hold on, Ms. Hall. If | remember correctly, your father'scompany is also involved in businesses similar to Vinci Rivera, right? Is it really appropriate for you to be the head of Alex?"
Stella looked at him and said, "Are you concerned that | would leak Vinci Rivera's secrets to my father, Mr. Kane?"
