There was no one else on the empty street, so neither of them noticed it when the heavily dressed man approached Keeganfrom another direction.
It was not until he got closer and suddenly pulled out a baseball bat from his jacket that Stella screamed at Keegan to alert him.However, it was already too late. Keegan felt a sharp pain in his head. He staggered and narrowly avoided the second hit. He somehow managed to kick theattacker's knee, causing him to groan and kneel on the ground.
Keegan's vision was going dark, but he used all his remaining strength to twist the attacker's arm behind his back and removethe mask from his face.
As soon as he saw the man's face, a van came out of nowhere and sped toward Stella.
Keegan was shocked, and his attention immediately shifted to Stella. He stumbled toward Stella and shouted at her, telling her torun.
However, after just taking a few steps, he was struck from behind again. His legs went weak, and he fell to the ground.He felt something warm seeping from his head, and then he heard Stella's heartbreaking cries.He wanted to shout for her to run. The van was just a distraction. Just as it was about to hit Stella, it swerved and grazed Stella's leg, causing her to fall. Then, itwas driven toward the man not far away.
The van's rear door opened, and someone from inside the van violently pulled Keegan inside. Just as the door was about toclose, a hand suddenly clung to it.

The security guard on duty heard the commotion and ran toward them.
The driver of the van urged, "Close the fucking door!

Stella held onto the door handle even tighter, knowing that someone was coming to help them. She wanted to do whatever shecould to save Keegan.
However, the attackers were ruthless and completelyignored Stella's actions. The driver immediately stomped on the gas pedal.The van suddenly accelerated and dragged Stella forward. She noticed that she could not hold on and was about to let go of the
door. But the man in the back seat grabbed her by the collar and violently pulled her into the van.
The man was so rough that he caused Stella to knock her head against the van. Before she could react to what was happening,her mouth and nose were covered by a piece of cloth that had a pungent smell to it. She quickly held her breath and struggled,but she soon became still.
That man slapped her face, made sure that she had passed out, and threw her to the side.The look on the driver's face changed. "Are you out of your fucking mind? Why did you pull her in?"
The man in the backseat, who wore a baseball cap, looked at him and retorted, "She saw my face. Would you prefer to let her goso she can report us to the police?"
The driver did not argue further with him when he saw that the security guard was getting closer. At that moment, they quicklyfled the scene.
The security guard could not catch up with the van, so he rushed back to their office to call the police.
However, as soon as he arrived, the security captain stopped him. "The bosses are coming soon, and you were supposed toshow the drivers where to park their cars.
Where did you go?"
The security guard panted and replied, "Captain, someone dragged a woman into a van at the entrance. It looks like akidnapping. We've got to call the police."
