Stella said coldly, "You're a designer, yet you don't have your own design concept. As a customer's image managementconsultant, | can't believe that you cannot offer any effective advice on her outfit. What's the point of the company hiring you? Barbara listened to their conversation and knew that no one was going to back her up anymore. So, she immediately shifted herattitude, "Ms. Hall, I'm just not very good with words. Please forgive me for what | said. I've been working in this company for somany years, and it's like a home to me. | don't want to leave."
Stella replied indifferently, "Would you want to resign so easily if it's really like a home to you? Besides, | think that you're verygood with words. Otherwise, how could you have fooled Ms. Wilson so easily?"
