When he started cleaning up the mess of these problematic projects at Vinci Rivera, Aldor suggested Keegan to compromise alittle by hosting a dinner event for the shareholders so that they could have an easy way out. Most of the shareholders werearound the same age as Chandler, whereas the others were as old as Cordelia.
They were all older than Keegan, and people around that age generally cared about their images very much. So, it would notbeen a good idea to handle things too harshly.
Keegan listened to Aldor. He booked a private room at The Deli and scheduled a time to meet up with the shareholders.
They agreed to attend the dinner event, but on the actual day, Keegan waited at the restaurant for more than an hour, and noneof them showed up.
It was not until the next day that they started calling Keegan to tell him that they had family matters to take care of and could notmake it.
Keegan was not convinced by their excuses.

Stella wrapped her arm around his neck and gave him a peck on the corner of his lips. Then, she smiled and said in a soft voice,"| have no problem with that, but | don't know if | can say the same about you."
Keegan paused, and his gaze darkened.
He raised his arm to undo a button on his collar and stretched his neck. He gazed down at Stella, as his Adam's apple bobbed."Who do you think you're talking to? Hm?"
Stella could not resist Keegan unbuttoning his shirt at all. He simply looked stunning while doing that.Her heart raced. She was about to tease Keegan with some sensual words, but her phone rang.
It was a new message.
Stella recollected herself, pushed Keegan away, and grabbed her phone.
Felicity had replied to her.
However, Stella was stunned, and her heart pounded profusely after looking at Felicity's text.Felicity's response read, [It's okay. I'll just let it be. It's kind of cute when it's soft anyway.)novelbin
Stella was shocked.
"How... serious is his condition that she decided to give up completely in such a short time?"
Stella was incredibly curious, as she asked, [Is it really that serious? Why don't you go see a doctor if it really doesn't work?Don't give up just yet.]
Felicity did not reply to that message. Instead, she sent a sticker that said, "You do you!"
Her reply left Stella speechless. She had a feeling that something had happened next door.
Keegan was not pleased with her looking at her phone while she was teasing him. He reached out and turned her face towardhim. "Is this really the time to check your phone?" he asked.
Stella hugged him and gave him a kiss. "Babe, could you run the water for yourself later? | need to talk to Felicity aboutsomething."
Then, she hopped off his lap and went to the room with her phone.Keegan sat there in a daze.
"Relax? What a liar! | knew that women can never be trusted!"Stella called Felicity after going back to the room.
Felicity did not feel like answering the phone. She felt uneasy inside, and her mind was in chaos. She figured that Stella hadnoticed something wrong with her, and she was worried that she might accidentally reveal something if she answered the phone.
So, she declined the call and sent Stella a message. [I'll talk to you tomorrow. I'm tired.]
After sending the message, she put her phone aside.
