Hylda pinched her brows and said softly, "Thank you for your help. | can finally be at ease after this is done."
The door of the dressing room was forcefully pushed open as she spoke. Hylda was startled as she hurriedly hung up the phone.

“Of course. Mom, you haven't seen the look on Stella's face. She doesn't even give Keegan a proper look. However, | have noidea what spell she cast on Keegan. He just couldn't take his eyes off her.”
Hylda thought about the strange things Albert did back then and suddenly understood what was happening.
She figured Albert probably believed there was a chance for Stella and Keegan to reconcile, so he wanted to use this opportunityto win Stella over. In that way, he could leverage the Kane family's name to gain more business opportunities, just like he did inthe past.
‘What a fool! Does he really think Stella would be satisfied with the small benefits he offered her? She insisted on suing him incourt even though she had nothing left after the divorce. Can't he tell how much she hates him?’ Hylda thought to herself.
Although there was no evidence to prove that the supernatural incidents in the house were fake, as an atheist herself, Hyldafirmly believed that it must have something to do with Stella. She just had not found anything to prove it yet.

After a while, Vermont came back with the steaks.
Felicity followed behind him as she muttered under her breath, "There are so many people running a multi-channel company, yetwhy do you have to work with someone like him?
