Keegan pretended that he did not hear Stella’s question as he turned around and said, “Let’s get out ofhere.”
However, Stella went after him. “Say it again.”
Keegan acted like he did not hear anything again.
Stella held his arm, and she just would not give up. “Would you say it again, please?”
Keegan would rarely say anything cheesy, especially those cheesy nicknames between couples.
For example, he would only call Stella by her name and never once as ‘ wife “, let alone ‘ baby” or“darling”.
So, Stella was very surprised to hear him calling her that as that was something she had never heardbefore.
When she saw male online celebrities calling their viewers “babies” in a cute voice while browsing shortvideos on the internet, she would get goosebumps. It was just not her thing.
However, she did not feel like that at all when Keegan did the same thing. It even made her feel a littleflustered.
Her heart even melted because Keegan said that unintentionally.
That was when she realized that it all depended on the person who said it.
But, Keegan just would not say it again as if his mouth was sealed shut no matter how she persuadedhim.
“Are you going to repeat it or not?” Stella pretended to be mad. “Your probation will be terminated if youdon’t say it now! I’m going to fire you!”
Keegan glanced at her. “I said it a lot of times that day.”
Stella paused. ’Which day?”

Keegan went closer to her and whispered, “In the hotel, when we did it several times. I kept calling youthat. Don’t you remember?”
Stella kept quiet.
She pushed him away with reddened ears as she glared at him. It took her several moments beforeshe said, “Shut up!”
Then, she opened the door and stormed out.
Keegan chuckled and quickly went after her.
Stella went around a corner and saw Vermont pinning a girl against the corner while kissing her.
Stella was shocked, and she wanted to walk away. However, her curiosity took over, and she tilted herhead to take a glimpse.
Her eyes almost popped out. She was about to yell at him, but Keegan put his hand over her mouthbefore she could make a sound. Then, Keegan dragged her aside.
Stella stared at him and patted the back of his hand, telling him to take his hand off her.
Keegan said in a low voice, “Do you want to attract everyone’s attention?”
Stella paused. Obviously, she was not trying to do that. However, what she saw was just too shockingfor her to not shout. Vermont was actually kissing Felicity!
She could not figure out when they started dating and why she did not notice anything at all.
She patted Keegan’s arm again, signaling him to let go as she was not going to shout anymore.
Keegan finally let go of his hand after making sure that she was not lying to him.
Stella poked her head out and continued peeking at them.
