Felicity's phone rang when she was scooping the mashed potato. She picked her phone up when shewent to the dining table and looked at it. Then, she cursed.
“That scumbag Keegan has a new girlfriend already!"
Stella paused without doing anything else.
Felicity placed her phone in front of Stella. "Look at this scumbag. He's hugging another woman rightafter the divorce!"
Even though Stella told herself to ignore it, she could not help but sweep her glance across it. Felicitywas showing something that
Vermont posted. It was a photo of a woman holding Keegan's arm. It looked like it was taken in a pubor a bar.
Keegan's eyes looked red and squinty like he had too much to drink. However, the woman looked verysober, and she was frowning worriedly. The woman was not a stranger to her, but someone that shehad met just not long ago, Jaylene Saun.
Vermont posted that photo with the caption: [A perfect match.) 1 Stella pursed her lips and picked up apiece of grilled eggplant with her fork, "Let's eat. The food's getting cold."
Felicity was shocked. "Are you not mad?"
Stella said flatly, "Why should I be? He's not my husband anymore. So why would I be bothered aboutwho he's with now?"
Felicity felt like she overreacted after hearing what Stella said. She threw her handphone aside andgrabbed her fork. "Is Detective Karl credible?"
"I guess. He's very famous, after all." Stella took a bite of her food.
Then, her phone vibrated. Karl sent her a photo. Stella glanced at it and recognized that the person inthat photo was Albert's old driver. He looked so much older now, but she was certain it was himbecause of that mole on his chin. Stella instantly replied: [Did you find anything?]
[Do you know this person?]
Stella replied: [Yes, he used to be a driver for the company.]
Karl did not respond.
Then, Stella asked him some questions again, but Karl stopped replying. So, Stella figured that he hadgone back to work.
Stella could not sit still anymore. This driver was supposed to take her to school back then, but he hadsomething else to do. That was why Stella sat in Rainee's car instead.
‘Karl is onto him now. Does he know something that I don't?’ She wanted to ask Karl more questions,but she received another notification on her phone. Keegan updated his social media again.
It was a photo taken at the same place. However, Keegan and Jaylene looked even more intimate witheach other. Stella scrunched her face and hid Vermont's updates on her phone.
Vermont waited for avery long time, but he just could not get a reaction from Stella. He wondered tohimself.
‘Is this not triggering enough?"
He was very shocked when he saw that photo in a group chat.
Keegan had been a hot topic in his circle after his divorce. So when somebody posted an intimatephoto of him and Jaylene, everybody lost it.
Jaylene became someone every rich man wanted to date after the Saun family returned. The Saunfamily was known for spoiling their daughters; everybody wanted to be their son-in-law.

Vermont was still waiting for Stella's reaction, but he was very surprised when he discovered that Stellahad blocked him too. At the same time, Xavier sent the letter from the hospital to Trevor's office rightafter he received it. Trevor took the letter from Xavier and waved his arm at him. "Wait for me outside."
Trevor only opened the envelope after Xavier left the office. It was the result of a paternity test. He heldhis breath and opened it slowly. He looked at it from top to bottom and frowned right after he saw thewords on the last line.
