Dahlia was about to scold Aurora for being ungrateful, but Olivia grabbed her by the hair again.
"Erick is nothing but a piece of crap! Without me planning and strategizing for him, he would've
achieved nothing with how stupid he is!
"And you!" Olivia lowered her voice and continued, "Mrs. Kane Sr. takes Stella more seriously than you
because she saw through you a long time ago. She knew that you're a worthless, selfish trash with
nothing to offer. You're delusional if you think that you can ever be in charge of the Kane family!"
Aurora could not stand it anymore. She stood up and said, “ Keegan, I need to use the restroom."
Keegan nodded and glanced at the time.
'Why aren't they here yet?'
Just as he wondered, the police arrived at the scene, putting an end to the absurd drama in the hall.
The police separated the two women, and when Dahlia saw the police officers, she thought she was
finally saved. As soon as she was pulled away, she angrily told the police to arrest Olivia. She accused
her of assault and even threatened to sue Olivia.
"Assault?" Olivia chuckled. "That was clearly a mutual fight." She then rolled up her sleeves to show
the scratches Dahlia left on her arms.
"Officers, you've got to make the correct judgment here."
Dahlia exclaimed frustratedly, "You wretch! You were the one who started it!"
Olivia pretended to slap her and caused Dahlia to immediately hide behind the police. She looked
nothing like the wealthy woman she would always be.
Then, the police stopped them. "Well, you two sure are brave. Are you going to continue fighting right in
front of us?"
The leading officer glanced at the scene and thought to himself, 'No wonder the person who called
asked for more police. This is such a huge mess, and it's not something that two officers can handle.1
The two younger police officers were assigned to maintain order at the scene and evacuate unrelated
bystanders while the other two officers questioned the two women. "Which one of you is Dahlia
Crosby?"
Dahlia was taken aback, feeling uneasy. She quickly took out her phone and was about to call for help.
Olivia noticed it and immediately knocked her phone out of her hand. Then, she loudly said, "She's the
one, officers."
Dahlia's expression turned ugly. She immediately picked up her phone and attempted to make a phone
call. However, the police stopped her and said, "Dahlia Crosby, we've received reports that you are
endangering public safety.
Please cooperate with our investigation."
"Endangering public safety? You must be mistaken, officers. " Dahlia waved off the police and refused
to cooperate.
"We will investigate whether there's a mistake or not. Now, please come with us."
"Are you crazy? The person who physically assaulted me is right here, yet you're going to arrest me?
Talk to my lawyer if there's any issue. I'm not going anywhere with you!"
When she saw the cold gaze from Keegan in the audience, Dahlia suddenly realized why the policenovelbin
were there. She panicked and shouted, ' Keegan Kane, are you out of your mind? Did you just call the
cops on your own mother? You're ridiculous!"
The police officer was not having it at all, and he said in a serious tone, "You're free to consult a lawyer
after we're done with the investigation. But, for now, please cooperate with our investigation!"
Dahlia refused to do so and even swung her bag around, hitting the police officer standing close to her.
She did not stop after three consecutive warnings from the police. In the end, they had no choice but to
use force to arrest her on charges of assaulting a police officer.
