Stella frowned, “What should we do then? We can’t just let them tarnish Leighton’s reputation withoutdoing anything, right?”
Vermont put down the cup and leaned forward, “Of course. Someone needs to do something, but notyou two.”
“Who should do it then?”
Vermont lifted his chin at Leighton, “Your girlfriend. It’s time for her to show her worth now.”
Leighton’s face turned red in anger, “I’m not going to ask for her help!”

“Is Leighton with you?”
