Felicity’s gaze turned angry. “Why did you lie to me and make me cook for you, then?”
Vermont immediately tried to defend himself. “Cooking for yourself and cooking for two people are twocompletely different things. It’s true that I enjoy your cooking, but I enjoy your presence even more.”
Felicity looked at him from head to toe before handing him the ladle. “You do it, then.”
