Stella only let go after hearing Keegan’s words.
The expression on Keegan’s face looked unpleasant.

Stella fell on her butt but felt a slight relief inside. Keegan did not lie to her.

Stella did not let go. Instead, she closed her eyes and enjoyed Keegan’s warmth in her embrace. “Idon’t believe you at all. Keegan Kane, you can fool everyone else, but not me. How can you notremember me? I’m someone you were willing to sacrifice your life for! How could you ever forget me?”she said in a hoarse voice.
With a tense face, Keegan forcefully shoved her away.
However, his action tugged at the wound in his abdomen, and the bandage was instantly stained withblood.
Stella was shocked. She was about to check on him, but Keegan said in a stern voice, “Don’t come anycloser! Don’t touch me!”
