Chapter 1294

Chapter 1294

“That’s impossible! I definitely said -100000. Don’t think you can pull one over on me just because Ihave a bad memory!”

Keegan was getting mad. “Since you know your memory isn’t that great, how can you be so sure you’renot remembering things wrong?”

“Because I have proof.” Stella immediately began to present her case.

Keegan did not buy it for a second. He remembered clearly that Stella had said to start with -10000when they were in the car. ‘There’s no way I’m mistaken.’

He waited for Stella to produce her evidence and was ready to see her embarrassed. However, insteadof showing him an audio or video recording, she pulled out an entry in the notes app on her own phone.

“See for yourself.” Stella pointed at the text and said, “I was giving you a discount when I said to startwith a negative of a hundred thousand.”

Keegan frowned and took the phone. As he read the list on the screen, his face turned pale.

[Keegan:

Good-looking +10

Short tempered -1

Pleasant voice +100

Forgot to call when he was out late -10

Gave me a birthday present +10000

Said I’m not his first love -100

Called out another woman’s name when he had a fever – 10000

Threw out the food I cooked -10000novelbin

No longer likes me -100000…]

The list went on and on.

Keegan had experienced a fair share of ups and downs before, but Stella’s list was one of his lowest. He never imagined that he would be scored like this. ‘This is absolutely ridiculous!’ he thought.

With a dark expression, Keegan gritted his teeth and said,” Called out another woman’s name when Ihad a fever?

Weren’t you the one who misheard that?”

Stella hesitated and cleared her throat, “Well, let’s not count that one.”

Keegan pressed on. “Threw out the food you cooked? The food was spoiled!”

Stella fell silent. “…Alright, let’s not count that either.”

Keegan kept looking for loopholes. “You are my first love.”

Stella quietly crossed out that item as well.

“Since when did I stop liking you?” Keegan pointed at the one with the most deducted points.

Stella quickly responded, “We’ve only been married for a short while. How well do you even know me?What do you even like about me?”

Keegan felt like he was going to explode. “Do you mean to say you chose our wedding day as the day Idon’t like you?”

“That date was just randomly chosen. It doesn’t have anything to do with the points.” Stella started toevade the questions.

Keegan stayed silent.

Stella glanced at him and asked, “Why aren’t you saying anything?”

Keegan’s face was expressionless. “Is there anything left for me to say?”

Stella stifled a laugh and continued, “Alright, alright. I’ll end your probation, okay? You’re such a pettyperson.”

‘Clearly, you’re the one who remembers things wrongly, yet I’m the one being accused of being petty,’thought Keegan.’ But since I’ve been promoted…’

“About the remarriage…”

“My brother has my household register. If you want to remarry me, you’ll have to figure out a way toretrieve the register from him,” said Stella.

Hearing that, Keegan was at a loss for words.
