Chapter 1263

Chapter 1263

The other parents were convinced by the fact that the kindergarten was simply trying to raise the tuitionfees.

“Didn’t they claim that the beds in the dormitory for afternoon naps were broken and couldn’t be usedanymore? They wanted us to pick up our children in the middle of the day. They finish school at elevensomething, and all of us would be at work at that time. We talked to them about it, and they said thatthey didn’t have enough money to replace the broken beds and wanted us to wait until the nextsemester. That solution was nonsense. As a result, we parents had to pay an extra two hundred dollarsevery month. I’m sure that they’re just going to do the same thing again.”

“It’s only been a few months since that happened, right? How could they raise it again? The tuition feeshere are already more expensive than other places. This is ridiculous. Do they think our money growson trees? We’re paying about a thousand dollars here without including the meals. Are we sending ourchildren to a kindergarten or a university?”

“We’ve got to bring this matter up to the authorities if they’re really trying to raise the tuition fees again. It’s unacceptable for them to raise it again in just two months.”

After seeing that the discussion was getting offtrack, the chubby lady quickly added, “So what if they’regoing to raise the tuition fees? We all chose this kindergarten because of its location, and it offers high-quality education. We should be willing to spend just any amount for the sake of our children. Theproblem now isn’t the tuition fees anymore. If this is a real land dispute and the land has to bereclaimed, it’s a matter of whether our children will have a school to attend at all.”

Her words struck a chord with the parents, and they immediately became worried.

Suddenly, one of the parents said calmly, “Let’s not panic before we find out what’s really happening. It’s a big matter since hundreds of children are attending this kindergarten. We shouldn’t be the onesbearing the consequences if there really is a dispute. I’m sure that someone else will take over thekindergarten. Let’s stay calm and try not to be manipulated by others.”

The chubby lady in a white shirt got upset. “What do you mean manipulated? I’m just worried about ourchildren’s education and sharing what I heard with everyone. Who cares about who this place belongsto? I’m only concerned about whether my child can continue to attend school.”novelbin

The calm parent was bewildered. ’I was just expressing so defensive?”

The chubby lady was embarrassed. “Yeah, yeah. to manipulate anyone when your children don’t havea school to attend!”

The other parents began to de-escalate

“I’m pretty sure that wasn’t her intention.”

“We’re all just concerned about our children’s education. Let’s not argue with each other.’

“We’ve got to work together when our children are really forced to leave.”

After the crowd had dispersed, the chubby lady called someone.

The police only left the kindergarten after a little over an hour.

On the same afternoon, the school suddenly posted a message in the parents’ group chat, stating thatthe kindergarten would need to suspend its classes for some time due to some unforeseencircumstances.

The group chat was flooded with messages as soon as that statement was sent.

Everyone started asking what happened, why they had to suspend classes out of the blue, and whenwould the classes resume.

The teachers evaded the questions and only told the parents to wait for further announcements.

“Wait for further announcements” was the last thing the parents wanted to hear. They had no idea ifthey should wait for the announcement about classes resuming or the kindergarten getting shut down.
